Chapter 5 - part two

After we both left our room , we still had a flight of stairs to climb...

Why on earth isn't there an elevator in this damn school . Whoever constructed this school didn't think it was necessary to do that or maybe there are just too dumb to realize that ?

"Ugh! Jade, I told you we are going to be late, look what's happening now!"

"Oh c'mon , we can't possibly be that late" she said nonchalantly..

"Honey! , our class technically started fifteen minutes ago" I said in frustration

"Okay! Okay! Fine , give me your hands , no matter what happens do not open your eyes okay? " Jade said warning me .

"Yeah , yeah... what'fs" I said , rolling my eyes .
Jade takes my hands as I closed my eyes and started chanting some words *which I assumed to be spells* before I knew what happened it felt like we were passing through space and time ,till I felt my feet touch the ground and Jade left my hands.

Still not sure if it was safe for me to open my eyes, I kept them shut tightly.

"Oh! Sweetheart, you can open your eyes now" she said clearly mocking me and trying to stop herself from laughing but was failing miserably..

When I opened my eyes , I wasn't expecting us to be close to a classroom

"Jade!!"

"Yeah?" She answered me, nonchalantly.

"Why the frigging hell, didn't you just teleport us from the beginning?" I was really pissed off right now..

"Well... I didn't didn't want to" Jade answered, nonchalantly

Is she for real now!

"You know what? Am really not in the mood for this argument right now, I think we should get going before we enter a huge punishment and trust me ...I don't want that to happen to me" I said , dragging jade to the entrance of the class
The teacher who was talking seemed to stop what she was saying and looked at us .

She looked kinda pissed off
O-Oo

We are definitely in trouble now

"Miss Anderson, why are you coming to my class by this time?" The woman said

"Uhm, my friend over here is new to our school ,and she's also my roommate, she fell ill this morning. So I had to make brown soup for her to take, to see if she'd feel better. Then um few minutes later she felt better so we both decided it was best to come to class."

Oh no she di-d-nt !.....did she just use me to save her ass
Well she technically saved us both "BUT still"
She used me to cover up without even telling me and that's just not acceptable..

Jade took my hand, and looked at me, as i stared daggers into her eyes
But she rolled her eyes anyway
As if not giving a fuck that she just betrayed me
Meanwhile ...
" oh class, we have a new student, why don't you come in and introduce yourself to the class.. and as for you ," she said looking at jade

" The next time you try this stunt again you'd be getting detention and I'm sure you wouldn't want that now would you?" she said, quickly making Jade to shake her head "no"

"If your friend is sick ,am sure you know the way to the infirmary take her there, and don't try and act as if you are a doctor or hero okay?"

"Yes ma'am..." Jade said looking sad

"Now take a seat" she said to Jade

"Now dear, why don't you introduce yourself to the class.." she said to me

As I brought myself to the middle of the class and started introducing myself

"Umm, My name is Layla Wilson .Am from Europe, but I moved here with my grandma after the death of my parents..." I said looking down on the floor,not wanting to remember it all again, cause I don't really feel comfortable talking about it .

The teacher then came to me , and patted my back gently saying it's okay and sorry for your loss

honestly I was getting tired of people looking at me with pity

"It's okay dear, you can call me Mrs.Dorthy and if you have any question, feel free to ask me ." She said smiling

" Thanks Mrs.Dorthy" I said, feeling happy that at least the teachers here were nice

"Miss Wilson, why don't you take a seat beside Miss Jefferson." She said pointing at the girl who was at the back
But she didn't seem happy about the fact that I'll be seating beside her.

As I approached my seat, she brought out a leg for me, making me trip and almost fall
If not for the hand that grabbed me on my waist stopping me from falling on the ground

I turned to see ,who saved me, only for me to meet a really cute guy with light blonde hair ,blue eyes staring at me
Still mesmerized by how handsome a guy could be
" I think you should watch where you are going next time?" He said , smirking

"Who knows, maybe I won't be there to save your cute ass again.." he said loud enough for the class to hear , making everyone to laugh.

Ookay that was rude, who does this punk think he is ? He just embarrassed me on my first day "Maybe I was wrong about the people here?"

I'll teach him a lesson

As I was about to smack talk him ...Mrs.Dorthy interrupted us

"Mr. Turner , I think you should watch your mouth" she said warning him . Which only made him to  smirk at me before leaving me to sit on his seat

Ughhh! Could this get any worse ...
