Chapter 9: the day together

Ari POV

At this point we are in the car going wherever Dre takes us. I called in work and school and told them i have the flu and might be gone for a couple of days. I only said a couple of days because i honestly didn't feel like going to work or school for the week.

"Where we going?" I asked Dre . He looked my way and chuckled "you got no paitience girl." I laughed and said "boy i just wanna know" he took his left hand off the steering wheel and put it on my thigh. "Be patient ma" i nodded silently in agreement.

After driving for a while we pulled into a really big neighborhood. We pulled up into the driveway of a huge mansion. "Damn." I said this house had to cost a good couple grands. I wonder who house it is.

**DRE POV**

"Stay here baby, ill be right back" i said looking at her with a serious face. I didnt want her to find out bout this yet. She said okay and i walked out the car Into the house.

As soon as i walked in the smell of gas hIt my nose. My trap was clean very clean thats the way i liked it . On the white couches was basically naked bitches counting my money. They looked my way and all smiled "Heyyy Choppa" they all said in a flirty way. "Wussup yall where Ghost?"

"He's upstairs" maylani said . I loved maylani she was one of my favorite workers. She stayed doing everything she had to and always kept the girls in check. She's been with me in my business for about 4 years and didnt fuck up once like these other bitches.

I went upstairs stepping into the smoke room. If this nigga wasnt downstairs he was definitely in there. Walked in and nothing but smoke came out. "Yo ghost lemme talk to you real quick" he got up and followed me.

"Wussup boss" he said dapping me up. "give me a status" i said sitting down in my office. "well everything is going good around here money rolling in and of course no complaints. " he said. i nodded not really impressed because its always like that i never have to worry about my niggas holding down the trap because i choose my niggas carefully same thing with the females who work for me.

"okay what about the man i told you to take care of the night of the party whats up with that?" i questioned  "cmon boss you think i wouldn't do that, i took care of that as soon as you left the party." i smiled cause ghost was really like a brother to me other than Dev i could trust this man to hold down anything. "preciate it brother honestly." i dapped him up then walked out the house into the car.

as soon as i sat down Ari scrunched up her face. "why the chipmunk face baby?" she laughed and said "you smell like you just smoked 60 blunts but u clearly didn't cause you all sobered up." she said pointing to my eyes. "you are very observant Ari but nah its just the house that smells like that. you must not like the smell of weed" she look at me and said "nah it doesn't bother me, at all but i like the smell of your cologne better." i smirked "o so you over here smelling me now huh?" she turned her head fast looking at me "you got too much dip on your chip sir" we both started laughing then i pulled out the driveway.

we were driving in silence but it was a comfortable silence not a awkward silence. i was starting to get hungry so i know for sure Ari was too. i didn't fell like buying food yet little does she know where we are going. We been on the highway for a while but Ari eventually fell asleep. as she was sleeping i drove and looked at her every here and there. i never noticed how truly beautiful she was her skin was so soft and perfect the completion was amazing and i honestly don't think I've seen it before.

I woke up Ari when we got to the state farm arena. "Ma wake up" i said shaking her softly. "no no no no i don't want to" she whined i chuckled "girl if you don't get your ass up lets go" i said getting out of the car. she got up and out the car and pouted. i laughed cause she was acting like a 2 year old. Then all of a sudden i felt her stop mid in her tracks. i turned around and her mouth dropped completely. "OMG WHO ARE WE GOING TO GO SEE" she screamed .  i laughed cause she finally realized where we was at after 10 mins of being here. "if you would come on maybe you would know.

She skipped to me and took my hand trying to run inside i laughed and just followed
