Andromeda POV ( AKA fem Percy)
One year later. (she's 6 now)
Running, that's all I had been doing for three days. First, I had been running from Gabe, that was the last thing my mother told me to do before he got to her. The thought of my mom made tears spring to my eyes.
( flashback)
A six-year-old Andy( short for Andromeda) lay in her room under her bed listening to her mom and Gabe fighting. It's been getting worse, the child knew that it was about Gabe. Sally was the livid to find Gabe beating Andy." I want you out of my f****** house before I call the police!" The woman all but screamed in his face.
Andy could hear the sound of Gabe's fist meeting her mother's face." I am the man here, talk to me like that again and I'll do a hell of a lot worse!" He screamed angrily.
But of course her mother was a very strong-willed person, and kept yelling.
Immediately the girl jumped when she heard a loud bang and the sound of something falling to the floor. By the time she got to the living room, Sally was on the floor blood slowly spreading around her."Mum!" She screamed.
" come here baby, mommy needs to tell you something." Sally said, wheezing slightly. The child scooted closer to her mother " you need to get out of here, you need to run." Her mother said her urgently, frantically.
"But-"the young girl started "No" her mother interrupted "I love you, Mommy." " I love you too, sweetheart, now go!" And that's exactly what she did, knowing her mother was already gone. She ran out of the apartment down the stairs, and into the street.
( flashback end)
But now, she was running from the terrifying one-eyed creature that was supposed to just be in the stories her mom told her. It was ginormous, it's large stature made it slower, but she was only six years old her tiny legs were nothing compared to it.
