It got cold so damm quick this year. Shivers run down my arms. As I close the door behind me and drop my keys onto the kitchen counter.
I could already hear her voice the next time I'll look for them. "There on the counter Shawn. They're always on the counter" annoying and amused at the same time. The thought of her smile while she's rolling her eyes brings a smile on my face.
I loose the hoodie and open the door to the bedroom. Under what I was pretty sure we're 3 additional blakents from the couch and other places around the apartment I spot her peacefully sleeping, her chest rising and sinking steadily. She was so snuggled into the layers and layers of fabric I almost overlooked her.
To be fair the window was wide open. I couldn't help but chuckle. She'd rather be freezing than sleep in a room with stuffed air. In the Sommer sometimes we even stayed outside on the terasse and breath so deep as if we'd never again.
I changed into new underwear, brushed my teeth and snuggled under the blankets near Y/n's warm body.
"Hrg you're cold" she shreaked a bit at a touch but then tuned around to face me. "Not my fault you sleep in a freezer love" a scuff... But then she pulled me close and I gladly accepted her arms around me and the smell of her neck like freshly cut oranges on a late September evening. Oh that's a lyric. Remember that one Shawn.
Her hands stroke over my shoulders and trough my hair then stoped as she fell to tired " I missed you"
"I missed you more darlin"
