alex tossed and turned on the plush grey sofa of will and gee's apartment. his eyes shot open and he was breathing heavily, scared out of his mind.

"just a nightmare" he whispered to himself. as he was trying to steady his breath will walked out of his bedroom. " oh," he said "you're awake?"

"y-yeah" alex stuttered. will had a concerned look on his face "everything okay?"

he walked over to alex and sat down on the sofa. alex shook his head, "i-i uh, god this is gonna sound odd, i had a nightmare" he didn't look at will, scared of being judged.

"awh, i'll protect you" will said, wrapping his arms around alex small frame and pulling him into a tight hug.

at first alex felt a bit ashamed of himself, but none the less he hugged will back, his head buried in the taller boys chest.

somewhat hesitantly will placed a small kiss on top of alex's head, who looked up at will and smiled, blushing pink.

they laid down on the sofa together still tanged in each others arms, will rubbing his thumb in small circles on alex's back.

"love you, lex" will said, assuming alex was asleep but he was sure he heard a faint
"love you too"
