“The winner of this battle royal is Neji!!!”

I looked at my hands, then at the dead bodies around me. I didn't want to accept the truth. I knew what happened. It was me who killed them. But I just couldn't accept it, no… I didn't want to accept it. I was too young, there was no way anyone would believe that it was me who killed, notone, but dozens of men. The military did not waste a second. They rushed out and grabbed me. My legs and my arms were pinned down and cuffed together as a precaution. The crowd was going wild, screaming and cheering. An image of Alex appeared in my mind telling me to move on so I thought to myself “Should I become the military’s dog or should I live my own life like a regular person would?” I debated with myself in the small amount of time I had left. I couldn't make a choice so I allowed my instincts to take over. I was pinned down, cuffed on both my legs and my hands. The two guys on me were really heavy that I could barely breathe. I was sick of being treated like trash. I took the deepest breath I could with the two men on me and with a small amount of effort I separated my legs and arms to the point where my cuffs could no longer keep me restrained. The men took notice of my attempt and forced their weight on me even more. At this point even I knew the choices I had. It was either do or die. I rotated on the ground creating enough force to get the men off of me. The momentum i built up was enough to get me back on my feet as soon as possible. I used my special speed to run past all the security guards until I could’nt find an exit. All doors were locked but one which was only open for the highest ranking officer. I had the door in sight but I was way too far to make it there. I ran back and I hid in a storage room while I thought of a plan. There was no problem getting to door if it was just that. The problem was who was next to the door. There was five special trained elite fighters that had powers alike to mine. The only difference was that they were trained in how to use their abilities and were twenty years older than me. I was still in the storage room thinking of a way out. The elite fighters werent wasting this time either. They split up and spread out around the arena. Thankfully there was only one left at my goal. I cracked open the door very slowly, not to alarm anybody and peered to my left and right. The coast was clear so I made a run for the door. I ran as fast as possible, leaving a wind trail behind me. The elite fighter noticed me and stepped back. I ran past him and began to smile. I was finally going to be free. I was right at the door, all that was left was for me to push and open it. The second I touched the door with my fingertips I felt a crushing blow in my stomach. The elite fighter had his knee right in my stomach. I looked up and began to vomit blood. I was sure that he destroyed some of my organs. I flew back about 10 yards crushing through the ground. I got up and tried to think of a plan. I knew I couldn't fight him because I was never trained. All I could do was run. I tried sneaking past him again by running through him in a zigzag form but once I felt the door at my hands, my face was eating a foot. My nose broke and he finished his kick by slamming me straight through the ground. It was obvious he was playing with me. I was trying my best and all he did was push me to the side as though I was a kitten that annoyed him. I touched my nose and looked at my hands. My hands had my blood over the dried chipping blood of the men that I killed. My face hurt, I was in so much pain.

The elite fighter looked at me and asked “Why do you want to escape?”

I looked at him and I told him “I want to live a regular life, not one filled with agony”

“Even if you leave now the government will track you down eventually”

“Then when that time comes I will be ready to fight back.”

The elite fighter’s eyes lit up.”You are willing to go against the government? That's crazy. But you’ve sparked my interest in you. You remind me of myself when i was young. I want to see how far you can go before you get caught in this world’s darkness. Hmmm. Ok. How about this, I’ll let you go through this door as long as you promise not to die until the day that we meet again. But don’t let me meet you in this hell or I will be the one to kill you.”

I undoubtedly shook my head and agreed. He moved to the side pretending he never saw me. My hopes were finally in my reach. I walked to the door and as the shine of the sun was entering the building my hopes of escaping went down the drain.
