Amelia slowly opened her eyes when she felt a small feather like touch on her cheek.

She gazed at Jake who was watching her.

She slowly sat up with a groan.

She noticed it was morning.

"Did I sleep down here all night?" she asked.

He smiled softly.

"Yea you did. You looked so peaceful I didn't wanna wake you."

Jake leaned in slowly to place his lips on hers.

Before she had a chance to respond Eric came down the steps.

"Hey. Did you guys sleep down here all night?" he asked as Jake moved away from Amelia.

She sat up as Eric sat down beside her on the couch.

"Yea. Thought I would keep a look out just in case." Jake informed Eric.

"I suppose he told you what happened." Eric asked Amelia.

"Just bits and pieces. Enough to know that you guys were really lucky."

She patted Eric on the arm before she stood up.

"I need to get back to Emily's and see how she's holding up. She was supposed to get married today." she said as she grabbed her hoodie.

"Tell her that we're gonna do whatever we can to find Roger." Jake replied to her.

She smiled in appreciation.

"I will for sure."

She turned to face Eric.

"Did you ever get around to telling April about Mary?" She asked him giving him a look.

Eric gave Jake a glare thinking that his brother told her.

"Why are you looking at me? I didn't tell her anything." Jake denied.

"He's right, he didn't tell me. Its obvious. I've seen you two together."

She sat down in front of him on the coffee table.

"So spill I need some good gossip." she teased.

Eric laughed back lightly.

"I didn't think last night was the right time to tell her. " he confessed.

Amelia gave him an encouraging smile.

"Its never gonna be the right time. But if you love Bailey then you need to be honest with April. Its not fair to her."

Jake and Amelia locked eyes briefly.

Eric noticed the looks that his brother was giving his ex and he wondered what else was going on between them.

There was a quick knock on the door startling all three of them.

Amelia stood up to go answer the door.

Eric and Jake were following behind her.

"Amelia wait." Jake whispered as he aimed his gun at the door.

She nodded and peeked through the window and sighed in relief.

She made a motion for Jake to lower the gun when she opened the door.

Bonnie, Mimi, and Stanley were standing out on the porch.

"Come in guys." Amelia greeted as they all walked in the house looking cold.

"Hey 'Melia." Stanley greeted as he pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry to come by so early."

Stanley apologized as he walked further into the house to talk to Jake and Eric.
