Hard to love

Chapter 6: failed escape

She woke up panting and sweating, she sat up quickly and saw she was still Inside the basement.

She suddenly remembered what happened and freaked out, she was searching for any wounds but to her surprise she saw nothing.

'what?' she thought in her head.

'was it just a dream?' she asked again.

And as if he read her thoughts Dark entered the room.

"How was your sleep my love?" He asked her.

"What did you do to me last night?" She asked him furiously.

"I punished you for what you said, in other words I tortured you" he told her as he had his arms crossed over his chest and leaned on the door frame.

"And where are the wounds you made?" She asked him.

"I healed them" he simply said.

"How?" She asked him again as she tried to find a logic answer.

"With my powers" he said as he waved his hands in front of his face.

"What are you?" She whispered asked him.

"Love, you don't want to know" he said as he laughed.

She just sat there and looked at him shocked.

"Ok, enough of this get up" he said as he snapped his fingers and the chains disappeared.

She got up and walked up to him, he walked away and she followed him, they walked up the stairs and soon they where in the kitchen.

When they entered the kitchen she was greeted with the smell of eggs and bacon.

They walked up to the table and sat down on the chairs, she looked at the food in front of her, she didn't trust him so she wasn't sure if she should eat it or not.

"I didn't poison it, this time" he said as he continued eating.

She picked up her fork and picked up a little piece of her food, she placed it in her mouth and chewed it, she did it again and again until she ate it all.

She looked up at him and saw he was watching her.

"I see you liked it, I'm going to sit in the living room, you are going to do the dishes and when you are done you can come sit with me but don't try to escape" he said as he got up and left the room.

She sat there shocked as she felt her anger boil.

'who does he think he is? He should be doing that instead of me, oh wait I'm just a hostage that has no choice' she thought to herself as she picked up the dishes and placed them into the sink.

She started washing them as she thought of her life.

'what are my parents doing right now, are they looking for me? what about my friends? Did anyone miss me?' she thought as she was done with the dishes.

She walked into the living room and saw him watching TV, he saw her entering the living room and patted the empty space next to him.

She walked over to the couch and sat down next to him, good for her he didn't looked at her.

After some hours he decided to check if she was ok, he turned his head and looked at her, she was sleeping.

He stroked her hair gently and smiled.

"Why won't you understand that I love you, why are you making me do this to you?" He spoke softly as he kissed her forehead.

He pulled her to his chest and layed her head there, he placed his arms on the back of the couch and closed his eyes.

After an hour she slightly opened her eyes, she looked around and saw that they were sleeping really close to each other.

She gently lifted her head off his chest and quietly got up from the couch.

She looked at him as he slept peacefully, she looked around again and saw the exit.

She tip toed slowly to the exit, when she got there she took the keys that where laying on the table he had next to the door.

She unlocked All the locks and slowly and quietly opened the door.

She peaked outside and saw green, they were in the woods.

As she was about to open the door wider someone slammed it and it closed.

She looked and saw a hand she slowly turned around and saw him, he was beyond pissed.

"You tried to escape huh?" He asked as he looked at her, his hair and suit messy from his sleep.

He suddenly took her wrist harshly and pulled her away from the door.

"Let me go you big psycho!!!" She yelled at him.

He turned around quickly and wrapped his hand around her neck, he lifted her up and threw her on the ground.

"When will you learn to respect me?" He asked her.

"N-never!!" She managed to get some words out of her mouth.

"Oh, so this is how you want it, huh?" He said as he grabbed her ankle and dragged her all the way to the basement.

When he got there he snapped his fingers and she was again chained.

He took and injection and pressed it inside her skin of her neck.

When he saw she was fighting to stay awake he laughed.

That was the last thing she heard before she drifted off, his crazy laugh.

"Goodnight princess" he said as she drifted off to sleep
