Andrea's POV
Out of everyone on the whole freaking planet, she thought. Why Stone?
She knew who her North was, of course. The school's rebel and prized slacker. Labeled as a bitch and, well, a stoner. Those were rumors, of course. But there were so many other rumors that Andrea had always wondered if there was some truth to them.
She shifted her weight from one foot to the other nervously, looking her over. Rumors aside, she was really hot. Long, dark, silky brown hair, glossy lips, and the nicest hazel eyes Andrea had ever seen. The rebel was wearing black, tight skinny jeans and a grey t-shirt that accentuated all her curves, and a worn-looking leather jacket that looked warm and cozy on her, and Andrea found herself wanted to snuggle into it; into her.
The smirk had melted from Stone's face, and Andrea could tell she was probably checking her out, the same way she probably had to her. She blushed under the other girl's stare, and Stone must have noticed her red cheeks, because her smirk was back in place.
"Andrea Mills. Not exactly what I expected. How about you? Shocked?" she asked.
"Yeah, a bit," Andy answered, unsure of what else to say. "Um, nice to meet you."
Stone tilted her head back and laughed. She stopped, suddenly, and her expression turned serious.
"So, what's it gonna be?"
Andrea furrowed her eyebrows. "What?"
"Are you going to reject me or not?"
She sighed. This was the moment she was fearing. "I don't know. But my parents aren't exactly going to like you."
Stone nodded in what seemed to be understanding, uncharacteristically serious, as opposed to the way she acted the few times Andy had seen her. She was usually detached and sarcastic.
"I wouldn't have thought they would, babe," Stone answered, her eyes crinkling as she smiled sarcastically.
There's the attitude I was expecting. "Don't call me that," Andrea snapped.
Stone raised an eyebrow but didn't reply.
Andrea looked at the watch on her wrist. "Uh, I should probably get going, I told my friend I'd meet her."
"Oh no, Miss Mills, you're coming with me," Stone grinned. "If you're not gonna reject me, then we should do the meet-the parents thing."
"I told you, my parents are not going going to like you, I think we should just--just--"
"Just what? What exactly do you wanna do? 'Cause you don't seem to want anything to do with me. So, if you really want to end this, just reject me. Simple."
Andrea's jaw dropped slightly and she wasn't sure what to say.

Lucy's POV
"Do you... do you want me to reject you?" Andy questioned, almost in a whisper.
Stone averted Andrea's gaze momentarily and glanced at the ground nervously before looking up again. She never got nervous, and it was sort of embarrassing to know that Andrea made her nervous. It was annoying, actually. She cleared her throat and scoffed at the question.
"If I wanted to be rejected, wouldn't I have just rejected you myself?"
Andrea tilted her head to the side, her face pensive. "So you want to be with me?"
