Monday found her snuggling in her bed trying to sleep for as long as she could.

Those plans were quickly interrupted though by her phone ringtone.

She let it ring for a bit hoping it would stop but when it didn't she grunted and got up to answer.

"Hello?" she asked her voice raspy and slightly annoyed.

"Goodmorning Cleopatra.Did I wake you up?" the voice wondered and she struggled a bit to understand who it was.

"Uncle Nick?" she asked hesitantly and the man laughed.

"That's me!" he joked and Cleo smiled.

"How are you? How's aunt Viv?" she asked sitting back down on her bed.

"We're doing great. More than great actually. We're renewing our vows tonight." he said and Cleo gasped in surprise.

"Really?" the shock was clear in her voice.

He chuckled.

"Yeah. And I would really like it if you came." he said and she smiled.

"Of course. Send me the place and time and I'll be there." she said and her uncle smiled.

"Right on it." he joked and Cleo laughed before hanging up.

She layed down on her bed hoping to catch a bit more sleep when she remembered.

She had to buy some gifts.

She jumped out of the bed and began getting ready.

The ceremony was beautiful.
The room was magically decorated and her uncles face was filled with love as he looked at her aunt.

Will I ever feel that way about someone?
she couldn't help but wonder.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her eyes caught a glimpse of someone she wasn't expecting to see in this place.

She blushed.

There he was looking as handsome as ever with a kind look on his face conversing with her uncle.

Out of all people... Charles..

He felt her gaze on him and turned to look at her curiously.

They both gasped. She turned her gaze away from him and grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing waiter.

His eyes wondered on her body.
She looked heaven sent.

"Excuse me for a moment." he said absent mindily to her uncle and walked towards her.

"Ms Smith."he called and her eyes widened in surprise.

Her heart was beating fast again.

She turned around to look at him.

"Mr Jones!" she gasped.
"I didn't know you were here!" she said casually and he raised his eyebrows at her.

He smirked and grabbed a glass of champagne from a passing waiter.

"Really?" he asked taking a sip from his glass.

She nodded looking away.
She siped from her glass blushing furiously.

"Cause I could have sworn you were the one staring at me a moment ago."
he whispered into her ear and she gasped.

"I wasn't staring at you!" she claimed and her eyes widened as soon as she realized the words that had fallen from her mouth.

He smiled.

She bit her lip and folded her arms under her chest in angst.

"It's alright Ms Smith. I know I'm irresistible no need to feel ashamed."
he teased and she looked at him angrily.

"I'm not ashamed!" she protested and he frowned at her words slightly blushing.

She blushed too.

"But you find me irresistible." he smirked and her blush grew more intense as he started into her eyes.

She bit her lip and rolled her hands into fists.

"You sir," she pointed at him with her index finger. "Are one of the least irresistible people I know!" she stated.

He chuckled.

His fingers circled around her index finger and she gasped at the contact.

"Is that right?" he smiled, his face an inch away from hers.

For a moment she forgot how to breathe.
She watched as his icy blue eyes stared into her soul and stepped away from his touch.

He blushed.

She looked away.

Both of their hearts were beating fast.

He cleared his throat and took another sip from his cup.

"Beautiful ceremony wasn't it?" he asked trying to clear up the air and she turned to look at him.

"It was." she answered.

They both stared into each other's eyes intently.

"So how's Jamie?" he asked running his hand through his blonde hair.

Her heart fluttered at that image.

"Oh.. He's fine...he's forgotten all about it.
We took him for ice cream afterwards..." she murmured playing with her hair.

"Good, I'm glad." he said and she nodded bitting her bottom lip.

Music flooded the room as they shared uncomfortable glances.

"Shall we dance?" he asked offering her his hand

Cleo looked down at his hand and tried to ignore the butterflies in her stomach.

She put her cold hand in his and gasped at the way he filled it with warmth.

He pulled her towards the dance floor and put his hands on her waist.
She put her hands around his neck.

As they danced they didn't once look away from each other.
It was like there was no one else just them and them alone.

He was a brilliant dancer.
She had danced with other men before but he was perfect.

He tried to ignore the way her gaze made him feel. The way his hands wrapped perfectly around her body.

They danced throughout a variety of songs without saying a word.

At least not with their mouths.
Their eyes were doing all the talking.

When the music stopped they sat down at the table.

"I never thought we'd be dancing together." he chuckled and she smiled.

"Neither did I." she agreed.

"You are a fairly good dancer though." he said looking at her eyes and smiled looking at his.

"You're not so bad yourself Mr Jones." she said her smile turning into a smirk.

"Call me Charles, please." he said the tone of his voice making Cleo shiver.

"Charles." she murmured.

He blushed. The way his name sounded coming out of her lips made his heart flutter.

Her lips.
He looked down on her lips and suddenly he was overcome with the urge to kiss her.

He looked back at her eyes and she stared at him waiting for his next move.

He leaned in her body pulling him in..

"Cleopatra! How are you dear?" a soft voice interrupted them and they both turned around to look at Cleos aunt.
