"Love a guy who holds the world in a paper cup, Drink it up, Love him and he'll bring you luck, And if you find he helps your mind, better take him home, Yeah, and don't you live alone, Try to earn what lovers own," the voice carried softly through the house, sounding slightly husky from tiredness, but beautiful nonetheless

"And even though we ain't got money, I'm so in love with you honey, Everything will bring a chain of love," Lance couldn't help the soft smile, leaning his weight on the open doorway, watching his husband sway in the middle of their living room

"And in the morning when I rise, Bring a tear of joy to my eyes, And tell me everything's gonna be alright..." Keith smiled down to the small infant in his arms, who gurgled up at him in return, Storm gray eyes shining like crystals.

Their son, their whole world and new light of their life. Lance always surprised himself when he says Keith interact with the baby, that the once hot headed, rash thinking loner could ever look at someone with such tenderness. He thought he'd unlocked that side of him when they got together, but he hadn't, but their son did do it.

The song his lover sang was one of his favorites, one that his own father sang to him. Lance wasn't shocked to learn he grew up listening to any country, but he did cherish other songs more than others. This was one that was close to his heart. Lance only heard him sing a few times, they helped Keith relax or helped others like himself calm down, so it was a treasure to hear him sing.

Keith hummed the rest of the song, making his way over to the small bassinet they had for him, gently tucking the boy in. The baby's eyes were struggling to stay open as he gave a large yawn, tiny hands fisting as he stretched. Lance gently walked over and sat next to Keith, who merely smiled up to him, and began to sing again

"And even though we ain't got money, I'm so in love with you honey, Everything will bring a chain of love, And in the morning when I rise, Bring a tear of joy to my eyes, And tell me everything's gonna be alright." He finished gently, the infant finally asleep. Keith leaned down to press a gentle kiss to his dark locks

"Sleep well, Darling." He whispered, smiling softly. Lance wrapped his arm around Keith's shoulder, pulling him close

"See, I told you you'd be an amazing parent." Lance whispered, kissing the top of Keith's head, making the man hum

"Lance, we've only had him for 2 weeks, I don't think it is time to decide if I'm good at this." Keith chuckled, Lance huffed

"Oh c'mon, don't think so little of yourself!" Lance smiled, keeping quiet as to not wake their son "you've got a good handle on this."

"And you do too." Keith smiled, looking up to his husband. Lance leaned down to meet Keith with a gentle kiss. A whine made the two part, glancing down to see their son make a sour face in his sleep. Lance laughed, Keith smiling in amusement

"Is my Mijo jealous?" Lance chuckled, leaning down to take the baby's small hands with his fingers, nuzzling the boy gently. He preened, humming in his sleep as he nuzzled back. Keith snorted, covering his mouth

"God, he's so much like you." He laughed, Lance hummed, pressing a kiss to his son's forehead

"And you, I recognize that annoyed scowl." Lance teased, bumping his shoulder into Keith's, Keith smiled

"He is ours after all, the best parts of us," Keith smiled, looking to the sleeping infant, his heart felt so full and warm every time he saw him. This was his life now. He never thought he'd have this, but here he is, married to the man he loves, living out the rest of his life in domesticity, with his son "Our Danny..."
