His hand snaked around her waist, and a smile appeared on her lips. She turned around and giggled. Rome was observing her with his serious eyes, but even she could feel the mirth in them. He leaned forward and kissed her soundly. Last night had been amazing. To her surprise, he was even gentle, but she knew she couldn't make a habit out of it. Rome's affection was rare, and she wanted to bask in it for as long as she could.

"What do we have planned for today?" he asked.

"I am free but I n-need to start studying for my finals as well, they start in almost two weeks, and I am lagging behind on a few chapters. I will be a busy bee," she pouted.

"Well then, I think I need to make the most of whatever time I have on hand," he said and pulled her on top of him.

She giggled sweetly.

"And what are you plans for the holidays?" Rome asked and gently caressed her tummy.

"My parents will be away, and so I will be staying with Sophie for the entire month till the new semester starts," she pouted. She really wanted to be with her parents, but her parents were going on a Christmas vacation of their own.

"Why don't you stay with me?"

Apple looked at him, could she stay with him for an entire month?

"But I will get bored, you will be at the office the whole day," she said.

"I am the boss, I don't have to take an off. In fact, we could celebrate Christmas with my parents and family, and then I can whisk you to my beautiful manor at Lake Tahoe,"

"For an entire month?" she asked shyly.

"Yes,"

"What will we do for an entire month?"

His eyes darkened.

"You really need an answer for that," he growled.

She giggled and lightly smacked his chest. Apple didn't realise how happy she would be by getting back with him. She just hoped everything would work out for them.

"I need to go back to my dorm now," she said.

His eyes dimmed, but he nodded. They got up and showered together, Rome tried to create as much delay as he could, but Apple's insistence didn't help. He tried to steal a kiss here and there, but Apple was very adamant and panicky about getting to the dorm. They were in the car within fifteen minutes and at her dorm within twenty. She turned to him. He placed a kiss on her forehead, and she smiled.

"I will see you in two weeks," he said.

Apple nodded. She was about to get out of the car when she was stopped by him. She turned to him.

Rome placed a credit card in her hand as well as her phone.

"When your exams are over, I want you to go shopping and buy as many clothes for our vacation,"

"I have clothes," she mumbled. Apple didn't want his money, the card in her hand was diminishing her self-respect.

"I know you do, but I want to indulge in you. I want you to spend my money," he said.

"Rome..."

"You will spend a minimum of ten-thousand dollars and no less," he announced, "now go."
