Our Story~ *Ereri* <9>

Ugh I'm taking forever to update XD I've been sick on and off so the motivation to write isn't really with meh right now. But I am here!!

Eren lied next to Levi. Levi's breathing was faint and he was completely still. Every so often he would look down at the older boy. He studied his very pale skin, his eyes, nose, mouth..it was all the same as before, but something seemed different.

"Levi, wake up." Eren shook Levi lightly.

"Whaaat?" He responded groggily.

"You're crying."

Levi quickly sat up and put his fingers tips under his eyes.

"Well whatever.." He mumbled as he tried to turn around so his body could face away from Eren.

"Did you have a nightmare?"

"No. I woke up to one."

"Stop." Eren pulled Levi around by his shoulders and sat him up in front of him.

"Levi listen, if you expect me to go along with this story you told me right now you're crazy. Before you get angry with me at least know I'll keep it in mind okay?"
Eren waved his arms around and something caught Levi's attention.

"Why didn't I notice that before..?" Levi said aloud to himself as he stared at Eren's hand.

"Exactly like this is...wait you're not listening to me are you?"
Before Eren could get an answer Levi grabbed his hand and stared at the scar.

"I left out a big part of the story."

"Humor me." Eren said as he watched him closely. He blushed lightly as Levi ran a finger down the scar.

"The scar. Where did you get it?"

"When I was a kid. My mom said that I was trying to use scissors for the first time and I cut my hand. I don't remember it actually happening though.."
Levi nodded lightly.

"Oh well..it sure left a scar."
He gave up. He knew that if he told Eren some crazy story about turning into this giant being that he'd think he was insane. "Maybe next time.." Levi thought as he brought Eren's hand to his lips. Eren shivered as Levi's cold lips lightly pecked the scar on his hand.

"So...what's that big part of the story?" Eren asked trying to hide the blush on his cheeks.

"Nothing."

"What?"

"I said it's nothing."

"Levi how am I suppose to believe you if you act like this?"

"It doesn't matter. Just let me sleep."

"I hate you.." Eren mumbled as he looked away angrily.

"What?" Levi hissed with his jaw clenched shut.

"I HATE YOU." Eren yelled out loud. "I don't know what to do anymore. At some points you're trying to kiss me and at the others you're like this," Eren motioned towards Levi with wild hand gestures, "I don't understand."

Levi looked down at his bedsheets silently.

"Levi, are you doing this because you want to or because you know you can?"

"I don't know." Levi said quietly.

"Are you with someone? Are you cheating on them?"

"No."

"I'm leaving." Eren quickly sat up and started walking towards the door.

"Wait, please."

"Why should I? You can just go to someone else. That IS how it works right?"

Levi sat on his bed and watched Eren pause at the door.

"No that's not how it works anymore."

"Yeah okay."

"I'm serious, what am I even saying? I know this argument is going to end the same way. Like all of the others, we'll end up together. Same old."

Those words sent Eren into a rage.

"I..I.."

He grinned.
"You know it's the truth."

"You're going to pay Levi. You'll regret those words."

Levi stood up from his bed walking to the door. He leaned up against it.

"If you plan on leaving you know you'll have to go through me first."

Eren clenched his fists.

"Don't test me Levi. I really can't deal with you right now."

Levi remained quiet and stared at Eren.

"Fine. I'll give you what you want. I'll play pretend, but after this I never want to see you again. You're making my life miserable."

<Wrote this all at 2 am because...well it was Saturday and I was delirious>

Eren crashed his lips to Levi's. Without hesitation he pushed his tongue into the older boy's mouth. Eren pulled away slowly looking into Levi's eyes angrily. He pulled off the dress shirt Levi had thrown on after showing Eren the tattoo hours before. His cold fingers traced the winged pattern on Levi's back. It gave him goosebumps.
The ravenette stood frozen. One eye was shut tightly as the other was barely open to watch Eren.
A deep red blush covered Levi's face.

"That's enough brat."
Eren didn't stop.

"I said get off." Levi forcefully pushed Eren away.

"How does it feel hm? Getting forced into something.."

Levi laughed humorlessly. "That was once and that was only a kiss. You weren't complaining when we were at your house and your tongue was at the back of my throat-" Levi suddenly stopped mid sentence.
<that makes it sound so disgusting XD oh well >

"What?"

"I think I'm gonna be sick." Levi mumbled as he walked into the bathroom connected to his bedroom.

"Ew I kissed you and you're sick."

"Oh shut up. It's not an illness like a cold or a stomach bug." Levi spat back as he shut the bathroom door.

Eren sighed and lazily plopped himself onto Levi's bed. He pulled something out from his shirt and held it above him as it glimmered in the light. The key was golden and looked old fashioned. It was something his father gave him before he went missing.

He always wondered what it went to.
Without noticing Levi walked of the bathroom and wiped his mouth with the sleeve of a sweatshirt he threw on in the bathroom. He stood and watched Eren. He had a calm expression on his face.

Everything was linked in Levi's mind. The key, the scar, Eren's mom dying, Eren's dad disappearing, Mikasa being adopted into his family...It all felt like the past just modernized. Where were the Titans though? Were they actually gone? The thought of a Titan crashing down houses and killing people made Levi even more nauseous. He had let his walls down to the modern world. He didn't think he'd be strong enough to build them up all over again.
