Our Story~ •Ereri• <10>

-if you haven't imagined what punk Levi would look like you should because it's wonderful. XD so I watched two people cosplaying as Levi and Eren get dared to do the pocky challenge at a con and they did it and I think I died for a second. 😂

"Are you going to sleep or what?" Eren asked as he sat up on Levi's bed. He dropped the key on the chain down his shirt and hid it as usual.

"Move over then." Levi pushed Eren over and climbed into his bed.

Eren sighed to himself as Levi pushed him. The thought of leaving and never talking to Levi again left his mind as his eyes grew heavy and he fell asleep.

The light was too bright for Eren's eyes as they peeled open. He looked around and couldn't recognize his surroundings. It wasn't Levi's room it was completely different. His body ached all over as he stood up. He stumbled over his feet feeling as if he was walking for the first time in his body.
He didn't know what day or time it was. He knew his name...Eren Jaeger. He was fifteen years old..his sister was Mikasa and his best friend was Armin. Somebody was missing. Was it a friend? Eren put his hand to his forehead as he tried to remember.

Small steps leading to the door caused his breath to be slow and steady. As he touched the door knob it swung open.

"Eren!" A girl cried out. Eren had to look at her closely. His dizziness caused everything to be somewhat blurry.

"Mi..ka..sa?" His voice was raspy. It was barely there in general.

Her arms wrapped around him tightly and tears streamed down her face.
"I'm so happy! It's been two years of you in that bed Eren." She said in between a sob.

Two years? Of what?

"What's going on?"

Mikasa sat Eren on his bed and pulled a chair up.
"We defeated the Titans. You've been in a coma. I can't wait for you to see the outside world it's so beautiful."

The smile on his face turned into a frown. She went without him? They always talked about exploring the outside together as kids..and he'd have to experience it for the first time alone.

An hour passed of them talking. Mikasa caught him up on EVERYTHING. Towns forming outside of the walls, who is dating who, the new setup and laws, Mikasa's new home by a thing called a beach. It all overwhelmed him. The door suddenly opened and a short man entered.
"Ah the shitty brat is finally awake."

Mikasa narrowed her eyes at him. "Corporal Levi how nice to see you." Her voice was sarcastic, of course.

Levi. Something clicked in his mind. A switch turned on. He had way too many different memories of the short man in front of him. Ones of him driving a car in another world to ones of him killing Titans. He knew who the Corporal was. He remembered everyone like he was talking to them yesterday.

"C-Corporal!" Eren said as he saluted. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks, he remembered that in some place or time wherever it was he had kissed Levi.

Levi nodded and as he opened his mouth to speak a group of people entered the room. He recognized Armin first and for the others it came back to him as they spoke.

Eren completely forgot about Levi being in the room. Levi silently slipped out of the crowded room filled with laughing and smiling people. He walked outside and sat under a tree. Whenever he needed it he'd escape there. He didn't expect Eren to be friendly with him, but why did he still feel disappointment? Of course Eren wakes up the day he wasn't there waiting by his bedside for two years. Levi waited. He wanted to do something he'd never done for him, greeted him with a smile. Guess that'll have to be saved for another lifetime.
Another lifetime of waiting for Eren Jaeger to wake up.
