underquirk: an upper story I DISCONTINUED I

It had been three weeks, and we were waiting for Haruki and Harumi to return. When they finally showed up, Harumi was pushing Haruki on a wheelchair. When she came closer, Ashido asked when she will be able to stand, but he pulled up the blanket, revealing that she lost her left leg. We knew it was bad with Haruki, but not this bad.
She told us that, not only because of that, but also of her weak left leg, she would not be able to stand. She told us that maybe she would need to leave UA soon, because she won't be able to fight, due to all the injuries.

Soon after the lessons ended, I gathered Ashido, Denki and Kirishima to go to the department of support. We asked Hatsume to make something for Haruki. We couldn't  leave her like that. She IS our friend after all.
Then we prepared for a small party, for which we got the permission from Mic to organise during the first period, as long as we will be done before English lesson would start.
We set up everything, so when they came in, the lights were put on and everyone cheered.
"What's this for?" Harumi asked with monotone voice. She didn't look amused.
"We made a small surprise party for Haruki, and we have something...." Ashido said.
We handed her the packet, which she opened in surprise.
"This is amazing! Thank you guys!"
The package contained a custom made prosthetic leg and mechanically reinforced brace. Also some other extra gadgets were given as a gift by Hatsume, not only for Haruki but also for Harumi, so they still would be able to fight.
"Thank you guys, but..." Harumi began, " but I won't  be needing this."
" Will you really leave us? But why? You both still can fight! You still can reach it!" Kirishima said to them.
"That's not what she meant," Present Mic came in to tell us, "Harumi won't be leaving our school, she decided to change her class to the helper class. She would rather do something technical, right, Harumi?" She nodded.
"I don't think I can help my sister by becoming a hero, because it never was my dream, only hers. I think I would,d be more of use my creating things for the heroes instead. You understand it, right?" She told us.
"I want to stay here. I still want to become a hero, no matter what happens! Thanks to you, I think I can. Thank you guys."
"We will miss you Harumi. And we will make sure you, Haruki will be better in no time! We will take care of her!"  (Ashido)
"Thank you guys! But I should go now. I have classes to attend. Ca!" Harumi said, and walked away, waving to us.
We made everything ready to go back to the lessons and continued the day, until the training, which went a little different than before.
