"Good evening and you are the granddaughter right ???"

"Well it appears to me that your grandma was having a stroke and she is okay but she is at risk of having another one so I suggest you keep a close eye on her"

"Thank you so much but I have school and work and I just called out today" I said as we made eye contact

"Ohhhhh and how old are you??"

"I'm 17 "

"Well I suggest you put her in a nursing home you really don't have much options and I have a couple of  brochures"

"Ok I guess When will I be able to see her ???"

"In about 15 minutes I will come back with the brochures and you can see her "

"Hello grandma I know you're sleeping but I'm so sorry I wish I was there to help you but I wasn't and I hate that I'm sooooo sorry "I said as tears fell

I stayed there all night and talked about all the memories we had and the problems in my life and also about the party and how I was undecided

The next morning :

I woke up feeling uncomfortable

"Good morning baby"

"Good morning grandma how are you feeling" ?? I said surprised

"Im feel way better and I heard you last night talking and it's not your fault"

"I know but still I love you so much"

"I love you too baby"she said

"But don't your have school it's Tuesday"

"Yes I was about to leave"

"Well you go head now and come back tomorrow cause I know your have work"

Alright I said as I got up looking at the time it was 7:20 in the morning I ain't really have that much time to get dressed and make it to school on time so I decided to go home get dressed. As soon as I got home it was 7:45 school started at 8:20 so I hoped I'd shower for 15 minutes and decided to put on a Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt and some black jeans with ripped jeans and some white sneakers. Because I was late I didn't have time to straighten my hair so I put it in a bun and had two pieces of hair down and grabbed my phone off the charger and walked to school.

As I walking to class I looked at the time it was 8:40 I walked in to class and sat in my usual seat in between my two besties and they looked at me crazy

" What"

"Girl you late" India said looking at her phone

"I know duhhh" 

They looks at each other

And nodded

"Why you late"

At lunch I told them what happened and they kept asking me if I was okay and I had to keep telling them I was good. On the way home they kept talking about the party and I was really undecided because I really wanted to go but then again I didn't. I dropped my book bag down and got my work uniform and got dressed and left.
I worked at a diner and today they had me on the register and I hate the register because people are so weird and rude for no reason.

We are order and took a seat

We joked the whole time we were there
