Part 3

So it's been a few days since my grandma had been in the hospital and she gets out today and we decided on her going to a nursing home and she would always have company and I will come visit her all the time and I'm just really sad cause I really wanted to be there for her but she convinced me to go to the party so i guess I'll go.

Saturday** (day of the party)

I woke up to a knock on my door and then I realized I was asleep. I fell asleep last night trying to find a new hobby . And I agreed on reading more and drawing. I mean I could always draw but I just never took it seriously.  I heard another knock at my door breaking me out of my daze. I got up from my bed and walked downtown stairs. I looked through the peephole and it was Jordan and this brown skin boy with long braids, the one from the store that was being rude. I opened the door.

"Good morning"

I smiled "good morning Jordan"

"I came today and I wanted to ensure you're going to the party."  Were you still sleeping??

I looked at the time it was 11:45

"Actually I was"

"Damn" the brown skin one said one the braids

"Ain't that much sleep in the world"

I just looked at him and rolled my eyes

" Well I'm going to the party"

"Cool but you wanna go out to brunch with us"

The brown skin one looked at Jordan like nigga i know you tf didn't

"Yea sure just like me get dress"

Y'all can get comfortable on the couch. I'll be right back. I said I was walked up stairs

I could hear them whispering downstairs

I giggled a little bit and continued what I was doing. I hoped in the shower for about 15 minutes. I didn't want them to wait too long and plus I didn't know what I wanted to wear. I decided on a green crop top and some ripped light blue jeans and some white Air Force 1s. I put my hair in the bun and grabbed my phone and began to walk down stairs.

"Yes I'm ready" I said I grabbed my purse off the counter and my headphones

We walked outside the house to a Burgundy sedan 2010 model. It was really nice. It looked brand new and then it hit me damn I'm gonna have to sit in the back seat. As I approached the car Jordan motioned me to get in the passenger seat and I did. And the brown skin boy just rolled his eyes and got in the back seat . I got in the front seat as he turned on the car. He looked at me and it was an awkward silence.

"Ohhh hell nah bro"the brown skin boy broke the silence.

"Where we going I'm hungry as shit and y'all in here being weird like let's tf go"

And with that he pulled off hard and made a hard stop and we all jerked.

We laughed as he continued driving the whole ride. It was an awkward silence until I plugged my phone up to the aux cord.

Nobody said anything so I continued to scroll my music.so I put my music on shuffle and it made me feel kinda better Because it was as awkward and I was able to sing along. We pulled up At the restaurant and we got out and went in. When we walked in side it was a nice little restaurant we sat down at a table and wait to be served

"Okay well first thing first"

"Asia this is Rakim know as rocky and rocky this Asia"

And I extended my hand but he just looked at it and waved I put my hand down feeling embarrassed like nigga why tf are you being so rude and I ain't let him get to me.

"Well I don't think I'll be going to the party with you because my friends want me to go with them"I lied

I was trying to walk in with him and everyone think we a thing or something and plus I'll see him there

"Oh word" that's cool sounds good ima see you there anyways" the waitress came and she was eyeing Rakim or "Rocky" and he kept licking his lips at her and she seem like she wanted to rip his clothes off and go right there but she was trying to pull herself together at the same time. She took our orders while practically
Drooling all over Rocky who should I call him Rakim.

"So Rakim how did you and Jordan meet"

"It's rocky to you and that's my bro we've been friends since we was in diapers"

" Ohhh alright"I said trying to not sound hurt like he ain't just crush my shit but it's cool

Well Rakim that's sounds like a nice  story

He just rolled his eyes as I looked over I seen the waitress coming back with our food she set it down and stood there asking if he needed anything else

"I'm good ma"

She took out her notepad and wrote her number and name down and ripped the small paper off and slid it to him he put the small paper and put it in his pocket

"Thanks" he said as he shine that pretty ass smile

"Ight now you can go thirsty as fuck" said Jordan

She rolled her eyes and walked away

As we ate we small talked for a awhile then we  talked about all the good memories the bad  memories I told him what happened to my grandma and the both asked me if she was okay of course I said she was Rakim ain't really talked he mostly was on his phone he seemed uninterested in the conversation but I didn't really care after we ate we paid for the meal she gave us a discount and they dropped me off at my house and when I looked at the time it was 3 so I decided to clean my house and great ready for the party
