25) Overturn

Sero's POV

Kirishima ran towards him while I backed him up. Kirishima threw the first punch and only left a scratch on him. Overturn then threw his own punch hitting Kirishima's hardened face making him lose his balance. They went back and forth. I took this time to wait for an opening.

Kirishima laid a pretty hard punch on his stomach and that's when I used my quirk to wrap him up in tape. I layered him tape, not stopping until I bled out of my arms. He was wrapped up pretty good. I grabbed Kiri with my tape, and I had tried to distance us far enough from the villain, but I made sure we were close enough to see him. "Red Riot are you good?" I asked.

"Yeah I think so, but when he kicked the both of us that first time it was like getting a regular hard kick like I didn't even harden. I'm surprised you're alright because that kick was really strong. I should be worrying about you not the other way around." He said.

"I'm actually fine." I lied. In reality some ribs of mine were most likely broken.

"Dude are you sure?" He asked, worried.

"Yeah. If anything we'll check later. For now I'm great." I said.

"Alrighty th- OH NO! CELLOPHANE HE'S GONE!!" Kiri shouted.

I looked to where he was supposed to be and he was gone. "Shit." I said. I then turned back and looked behind Kiri, and I saw Overturn. "SHIT!!" I screamed out. He was about to hit Kiri, but I grabbed Kiri and I kicked him where the sun don't shine. He ended up missing Kiri which was great, but he recovered faster than I expected.

I tried to jump back but I couldn't as my broken ribs prevented me to do so and in the process I coughed out some more blood. "Red harden!" I said. He instantly did it with no hesitation. I used my quirk to wrap him real fast and threw him, and I held on to the other side so we both could go flying to try to distance us from him, and it was a success. But I knew it would only be for a little. "Red do you know when the other heroes are going to get here!?" I said, a little blood exiting my mouth.

"They should be here any minute now. If they don't come soon I don't think we'll be able to survive." He said a little nervous.

"Damn. I guess we'll just have to hold out till then. C'mon Red we can do this." I say getting up and extending my hand out for him to grab. He grabbed my hand as we took our ready stance waiting for Overturn's next attack.

"Prepare to die heroes!" He said.

"The only one who'll be dying is you, you villain!" Kiri shouted.

"Red?" I said and he looked at me and then I continued, "Let's do our best." I said smiling at him.

"Yeah, let's do this. Let's go beyond, plus ultra!" He said smiling. He put his fist toward me and we fist bumped.

"Aw it's really adorable how you think you're going to survive this!~" He says. "Well too bad you aren't going to." He then teleported like he had done earlier. It seems as if he could only do it again after a certain amount of time. He punched Kiri in the stomach and now this time Kiri did cough out a lot of blood and in the process he got knocked out.

"Red!" I shouted. I tried to run over to his aid but Overturn had grabbed me by the neck, choking me.

"Sorry hero. It seems your time as a hero has come to an end. There is no one to save you. After I'm done with you I'll go and move on to your friend over there." He then points to Kiri. Like hell I'd let him lay a hand on him. I start kicking him to try and free myself from him and instead of making him loosen his grip, it tightens his grip even more. "Why struggle? You'll die anyway." He said.

All of a sudden he let me go and I fell to the ground. I was confused as to why he let me go just like that. Then I suddenly realized why, I looked down to see that on the left side of my abdomen there was a hole that went all the way through to the back. I fell completely to the ground. When did he strike me I thought. He did it insanely fast. Am I going to die? I asked myself.

I looked over to see Overturn making (my way downtown walking fast-- I'll go) his way to an unconscious Kirishima. I couldn't just let him get Kiri too, so I used up the last of my strength to shoot tape at his feet to stop him for as long as I could. He stopped, and instead of walking to Kiri he walked back over to me and kicked me hard but not as hard as before in the stomach. I screamed out, and he just had a smirk on his face.

He started to walk back over to Kiri but it was just then that the other heroes got there. Overturn wasn't happy with that, so he ran away. Well for now. I felt relieved that they finally came. I felt my vision getting blurrier, but I saw Todoroki come into view, and he was saying something that I couldn't quite make out. I tried to read his lips, and I think he was telling me to stay awake, but I was so tired. I then felt someone pick me up. It was Mt. Lady. She grew in size and started to go somewhere with me in one of her hands. Kiri in her other hand. I blacked out after that.

Kirishima's POV

I woke up to see I was in the hospital. I saw Bakugou next to me. He looked really worried. "Katsuki..." I said weakly.

"Eiji! You're awake! Don't worry the doctors will take care of you." He said.

"Wait a minute where's Sero?" I asked. He just looked away not answering the question. "Bakugou!? Where the hell is he!?" I asked.

"He's in the ICU. That's all I know... Also the old hag Chiyo said you have a few broken ribs and a few cuts but she used her quirk and you'll heal faster." He said.

"That's good. Have you or anyone else contacted Kaminari yet?" I asked.

"No. I can't." He said.

"Why the hell not?" I said.

"Look Eiji as much as I hate to admit it that damn tape dispenser is my friend too, and I'm barely keeping it together. I don't want to imagine how Pikachu will be when he finds out he's here. I'll contact him as soon as I find out if he's- if he's not gonna make it or if he is." He said.

"That's understandable. How bad is he?" I asked.

"I didn't see how bad it was but they said that it's really bad." He said.

"If I'm in bad shape I wonder how bad Sero is right now." I wondered. "I really hope he makes it. I don't want to see Kaminari sad." I said.

"Same." Bakugou said.
