We eat breakfast in silence, every once in a while I'll glance over Lili. She'll be zoned out or looking at something at her phone. Her clothing choice made my eyes linger a little bit to long.

"I've changed you know," I lean back observing her.

"That's great," she mutters not even looking up.

"People change Lili," I scratch my chin.

She ignores me.

Last year I was a total asshole, but I've changed. The whole summer in New York I thought of her, how she wrapped her lips around my- stop. I need to stop, I was going to give myself a hard on in a public place and I wasn't in the mood to explain why.

"Finish your food," I push her plate closer to her.

"I'm full," she finally looks up.

I narrow my eyes at her before trailing my eyes down to her lips, those perfect lips-

"Let's go then," I get out of the booth putting money down.

"Let me pay," she grabs her wallet.

"No," I snatch her wallet.

"Okay give me my wallet back so I can pay," she puts her hand out.

"Not happening Reinhart," I put it in my pocket. "Come on."

The rest of the day Lili and Camila locked themselves in her room. It was around lunch time so I decided to make a huge lunch for everyone. I made salad with sandwiches.

"Lili! Camila!" I yell. Camila comes down alone. "I made lunch where's Lili?" I put her plate in her favorite chair.

"She said bite my ass," Camila shrugs.

"That girl is too skinny she needs to eat something," I begin to walk up stairs.

"When did you become just a dad?" She laughs.

I shake my head walking in Camila's room.

"Reinhart I made lunch," I look at her. She's sitting on the bed scrolling through her phone.

"Not hungry," she snuggles up with a blanket,

"Lili," I cross my arms leaning on the door frame.

She puts her phone down, "fine I'll be down in a minute."

I nod my head walking back downstairs. I grab her plate putting it in front of my next to Camila. A few minutes later I hear the soft padding of footsteps, Lili appears taking her seat.

"So, school starts in a few days. What are you guys gonna do?" I begin to eat my food.

"I think we're going to skip," Camila looks at Lili and she shakes her head 'yeah' in reply.
