Alice's POV:
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! "Ugggghhhhhh" I moan, "Alice!!! Get up!" My mom calls from downstairs. I get up, brush my teeth, do my hair, and get dressed. School sucks. I have no friends, except the teachers. Everyone makes fun of me because I'm not the skinniest girl you've ever met. I actually eat food and I don't starve myself, so apparently I'm fat. "Al, breakfast is ready!" Ugh, I hate when my mom calls me that. It makes me sound like a dude! "Coming!" I go down and eat my breakfast, and I'm off to school.
When I walk in the classroom I get the usual glares, the same people laughing at me, and people making fat jokes. I just put my head down and take my seat at the front of the class.
Liam's POV:
"All in!" I shout, all the lads at the station gathered around the table playing poker. I win the round and take all the chips, grinning to myself. "Anybody want something to drink?" My friend Alex asks. I hear a chorus of "I'm good!"s and "Coke please!"s. I get up and go make myself some popcorn. The station really is boring. There is nothing to do but sit and wait for the alarm to go off. I've only been a firefighter for about 2 years now. I haven't really had time for dating, I've been at the station pretty much 24/7. I hear my popcorn is done! Wow, the station is REALLY boring.
