Liam's POV
"Fire at 1020 W. Jefferson Street" I hear over the speakers, and I spring into action. I go and get my suit, hurrying to put it on while I run to the truck. We turn the sirens on and speed down the road.
"Oh man..." I say as we aproach the fire. "This thing is huge!" . "If there is anybody in that house still alive right now I'll be shocked!" says Alex. "Alright boys, lets do this!" I say. We all go to Chief to get our assignments, "Liam and Alex, you two get the second floor." "Yes Chief!" Alex says.
We raise the ladder and go in through the window. "HELLO? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?!" I shout. Silence. I check the bathroom. Nobodys there. I find a bedroom. "ALEX! IN HERE!" I shout. I rush to the girl, passed out from the smoke. I check her pulse. Thank god, she is breathing.
Alex and I lift hoist her up and carry her to an ambulance. As I carry her, I realize something. She is beautiful. Her gorgeous light brown hair falls over her face perfectly. I can't leave her. I can't let her die.
