Chapter 3

Scarlets POV
I never wanted Zayn to witness that but he comforted me. He's my best friend and my only friend I'll never trade him for anyone not even other people who will be my friends at all time without being ashamed because the truth is no one will get me as much as he does.

He the best person in this world I love
him.

I nev- what did I just say I loved him! My eyes widened in shock as I just realized what I thought. Do I love him? No of course not he's just me best friend I'm just confusing myself. Or do I love him?

"Scaareeeet!" Zayn whined as he tugged on my T-Shirt sleeve. We we're currently watching a movie in my attic. A place my mother never went to ever since my 'dad' left us

"Yeah?"

"what happened?"

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I called you about 5 times and you never replied it was as if you zoned out to another country" he complained

"Whoops" I shrugged and fell into a fit of giggles

"Yeah.....whoops" he said but then started laughing with me

"Shhhhhhhhh! This is a good part!"
"Funny! How your suddenly interested in the movie"

I honestly didn't know what was happening in the movie but we were watching Annabelle isn't every part suppose to be interesting in a thriller movie?

Zayn got up and switched off the tv
"Hey I was watching that" I kicked the
chair as I whined

He chuckled and helped me up from the floor... yeah we sat on the floor when there was a chair.....

"Where we going" I asked as he threw me my sweater

"To the movies! Away from this small crappy place" he laughed

"Hey!"

"Cmon admit it. Its creepy as hell to watch a scary movie in a attic" heights as he carefully walked down the stairs so my mother doesn't wake up

We snuck out the window since the doors make too much noise and that would result in awakening my mother.
Zayn grabbed my hand and led me to the movie theatre, we decided to walk since it was only a block away from my house

"What movie are we gonna watch" I asked as I shivered when a wind passed

"That's up to you to decide" he said

"Awe your such a gentlemen" I teased

"Just like how your such a great friend" he said with a hint of sarcasm

"Hey! I am a great friend"

"Yeah ok" he laughed

We decided to watch a funny movie just to get rid of any frights I got from Annabelle. Zayn and I laughed through it all. we stopped at the pizzeria across the movie theatre for dinner. Afterwards Zayn dropped me home and he went home.
But all that ran through my mind was "Do I really love him?"
