Damian came back with his face red and fresh tears settling on them. Nathan ran to him and got up on his tip toes to kiss Damian. Instead of a kiss, Nathan felt a sting on his cheek. He opened his eyes and saw Damian's eyes furious. "Don't fucking touch me," Damian said low and almost sounding threatening. He then stormed off to the bedroom and slammed the door. Nathan jumped at the loud sound and sighed. He sat on the couch and caught up on his work. For the rest of the day, Nathan heard nothing but Damian's small cries of "Jordan," or "It should have been me." Soon it stopped and Nathan finally went to sleep, preparing himself for the next day. Jordan's birthday.

Nathan woke up and saw Damian in the kitchen, wearing a pair of Jordan's old sweat pants and hoodie. "Morning, Damian." All Nathan got back was a small grunt and an eye roll. "We're going to the graveyard today," Damian said, walking into the living room. "Call a cab." He walked away without another word. Nathan called a cab and got dressed. By then the cab was there. Damian took Nathan's hand and walked to the cab. They got in and Damian payed the driver once they arrived. "Oh, so now you want to be nice," Nathan thought. Damian and Nathan walked to Jordan's grave. Nathan suddenly had flashbacks from the ceremony. Damian on the ground crying more than Jordan's family did. It was quite sad in his opinion. As they walked up, they saw a person sitting there. Nathan knew right away who it was but Damian, on the other hand was too focused on the fact someone was sitting on Jordan's grave other than him. The girl turned around, "Hey, guys." Nathan smiled, "Hey, Nadia." Nadia was another that knew Jordan well. She was a schoolmate. Damian never liked her because he was always jealous of her. Damian scowled, "Go away!" Nadia sighed and got up. "Nice to see you too, dickhead!" She turned back to the grave and sat a piece of paper down with a drawing on it. "Happy birthday, Jordan." Then, she was gone.
