13 • 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐤𝐮

The sunlight shined against your face. The warmth of it woke you up. Getting up you noticed you weren't in your room. "Ahh, I forgot my room door was kicked down." You got up fixing the bed. Then, changing into your demon slayer outfit.

Walking out , you were met with Iguro in the hall trying to fix your door. "Hi Obanaiee!" You walked up to him, he glanced up to you before concentrating back to the door. "Where's Kaburamaru?" He grabbed a screw and tried to screw it in the door. "I seen him crawl underneath the door where you were sleeping."

Walking back , you found the nope rope curled underneath the blankets that you just folded. You smiled, before you headed out of the room , you heard pecking at the window. Opening it you were met with , Itachi the crow. He flew in the room and landed on your shoulder. "Mission , Mission!" You nodded as the crow left through the window.

Iguro watched as you walked in the kitchen, you were quite comfortable living with him, but you wondered when you were gonna get your own home. And you really didn't wanna buy one. So you just stayed with Iguro cause , FrEe rEaL eStAte!

Cooking some waffles , you sat down and ate it. Iguro then sat down across of you. You decided to start a conversation with him. "Have you gotten any missions yet?" He shook his head, "My mission is to watch you , and make sure you're comfortable here as a new pillar. Why do you have a mission?"

You nodded, " Yeah , I have a mission. " He nodded looking down. "Are you sad I'm leaving , AHH CUTE!" You said clinging to his right arm. He tried to wiggle you off, "N-nope, just concerned , I mean ah-" He was now flustered. "So adorable, anyway I have to head out. I wanna complete my mission so I could come back and see my baby!" He was blushing furiously now. "I have to go say goodbye to him, wait he's right there." You pointed towards Iguro.

"M-me!?" Before he could react you walked past him towards the white snake present. Picking up the snake gently, you pecked his head. "I'm gonna miss you Kaburamaru! Even though all my clothing is destroyed because of you." Iguro was now embarrassed, because he thought you were talking about him. You placed the snake down.

"Alright I'm gonna go now." Before you left, you hugged Iguro, "Make sure no one steals my food in your fridge. K." Then you pecked him on the cheek, which was covered by his bandages. "See you later Obanaiee!"

It was a week later, Iguro grew anxious on at his home. When were you gonna come back. Before he could go deep in thought , he heard a knock at the door. " I'm HOOOMEE!" You yelled as you ran past him. "How was your mission?" He questioned. You answered with a smile. "It was fun and good, I ran into Rengoku on the way back. Me and him are heading out for dinner today!"

He huffed before heading to his room, "Alright , I'll be here."

You were wearing a plain dress, that was red. Walking up to the restaurant , you met Rengoku. "Hey Flame Boy!" You ran up to him. He enthusiastically said , "Hello (Y/n)! I like your dress!" You smiled , "Yeah!"

You both sat across of each other, "How have you been lately Rengoku?" He looked up from his menu, "Good! Oh wait, I found this at a shop and thought it would fit you perfectly!" He pulled out a small box. Inside was an outfit.

It was a beautiful dress, it had flames on the bottom part, the flames colors were red then went to yellow. The base of the dress was white. The socks that came with it were white. Looking over at it's features you looked up at him, "This dress reminds me of you. The yellow and red."

You smiled softly at the design, he gave you a bright and bigger smile. "I'm glad you like it!"

You both got done eating. It was around 3pm. Walking back your crow alarmed you. "Mission! Mission! Meet with Rengoku at the Mugen Train!" Iguro wasn't home so you couldn't say goodbye. While you were rushing to the train, Iguro was talking to someone.

"Rengoku, since you're a pillar, and heading on a mission with (Y/n). Protect her, please. I have a bad feeling about this mission." Iguro had a serious expression as he looked at Rengoku. He nodded, "Of course, I'll protect her! On my life , she won't die!" Iguro nodded and walked off, "Thank you."

You grabbed a seat in the train, noticing Rengoku entering you waved him over. He sat down across of you. "Are you ready for this mission!? I'm so hyped!" You jumped from your seat. Rengoku gave a smile at your childish expression. "Of course! And if something bad happens, I'll protect you!" You pouted, "No , I will be the one saving you!"

He gave a laugh, "This is a promise, I'm protecting you!" You gave a smirk, "Bet!"
