16 • 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞

Waking up , looking around you found Rengoku looking at you worriedly. "Oh thank heavens! (Y/n) you worried me! I wasn't sure if you'll awake. If you didn't the flame in my heart would burn out." You got up looking around. "Where's Tanjiro , Inosuke , Zenitsu and Nezuko?" Rengoku looked around before getting up.

"I'm not sure, let's go find them!" You nodded getting up. Taking out your sword , walking throughout the train you found Tanjiro. "So this is what happened while I was dozing? I can't believe it! Some Hashira I am!" Rengoku said , as Tanjiro fell against the back of the train cart.

"Kamado" "Tanjiro-" Tanjiro looked up , "Rengoku! (Y/n)!" Rengoku looked around before his full attention shifted to Tanjiro. "To come this far , I had to do some really precise blade work so I think the demon'll need some time to regenerate. But there's no time to spare, so I'll make it quick! This train has eight cars. I'll defend the back five! That yellow boy and your sister will defend the remaining three. You , (Y/n) , and Inogashira will keep an eye those three cars as you search for the demon's head!"

Tanjiro's eyes widened. "It's a head?! But right now, this demon is-" "Whatever shape it takes , as long as it's a demon, it's got some vital points somewhere!!" You almost let out a giggle, of how Tanjiro was sweating from the close approximately. "I'll look for it while I fight, now hop on it!" Rengoku then disappeared.

Tanjiro's mouth went agape. "Tanjiro! Help me! We need to find Inosuke!" You said getting up and swinging your yellow sword at the stuff growing out of the train. He merely nodded and got up helping you.

"Inosuke! Inosuke, where are you?!" Tanjiro yelled. "Shut up or I'll kill you!" You heard from above. "That guy with the wide staring eyes gave me an order! But... he's kinda sorta... AMAZING!" You let out a small giggle. "Is that (messed up name) with you? And that pisses me off more!"

Tanjiro yelled aloud , "Inosuke!! An eye on the first three cars as you-"  "I know! And I've already found it! With a full strength seventh form! This lord's vital point!"  Tanjiro gasped , "Really! So it's up front?!"

We continued towards the front running. While running towards the front Inosuke made it in. Me and Tanjiro traveled behind , while arms started to form blocking Inosuke.

"Color Breathing : Red wheel!" You said , as you sliced the arms. The fact you were doing as much here and being useless angered you. As the sword sliced the arms , it left a flame trail. Looking up your worried eyes met the boar mask. "Are you okay Inosuke?" Little fluff balls appeared around him , he looked like he was dazed. "Inosuke?" The fluff balls disappeared as he only nodded.

Tanjiro sniffed the air , "Inosuke!! The demon's head is right underneath us!" Inosuke sounded mad , "Don't order me around! I'm the boss!!... Okay Fine!"

"Beast breathing : second fang : slice in dice!" When Inosuke sliced down, revealing a neck bone on the train. Tanjiro was about to slice the bone before arms blocked it.

As that happened the arms closed around us revealing eyes. Your eyes made contact with the eyes as you almost fell asleep. While you were slicing being careless. Looking behind you gasped as someone someone made there way towards the boy. Running towards Tanjiro to deflect the stab. That was until that needle stabbed your side. Flinching as it deepened more since the guy put pressure.

"(Y/n)?!" Tanjiro said as he knocked the guy unconscious. "I'm fine! Focus on the mission!" You yelled looking away to cough. Blood splattered on the ground as you coughed. " Beast Breathing  Fourth Fang : Slice n Dice!" Inosuke yelled as he sliced downwards.

Tanjiro then started to slice down using fire? Watching him successfully cut it , the train started to fall off the tracks. As this was happening there was screeching that made you sheathe your sword back quickly and cover your ears.

Your eyes widened as the train fell off the tracks. The train was fully gonna crash. And you were gonna get squished.
Am I gonna die.
