Chapter Seven

-Stefan-

I walked into the school and I bump into someone " oh I'm sorry"I said as I heard chuckling " it's okay, you must be Stefan the new kid, we haven't officially met I'm Katharine best friend"the blonde said " ahh so you must be Bonnie or Caroline?" I asked as she smiled " Caroline!"she said with her chirpy voice wow, katharine did describe her well " Nice to meet you Caroline, but I got to get to class"I said as I moved passed her and went to my period as I see Katharine smiling at me as she sees me walking in "hey there"she said "hello Katharine"I said " yo man thanks for last night"Matt said walking past me I nodded my head "no promblem man"I said " what did you do for Matt?"katharine asked "oh nothing, I was just babysitting"I said "really? You like kids??"she asked laughing I frown my eyes "yeah!"I said as she stopped and looked at me " are you forreal? You like kids"Katharine asked why is it so hard for her to believe me "yes Katharine, I believe we all are going to have some one day and I'm preparing, do you want kids?"I asked "haha,no! Kids are not my scene more like my sisters"Katharine said Elena..."Elena?"I asked and she nodded the more I get to know about Elena the more I'm starting to like her... " really"I said as I focused on the board..

"Did you see the hot kid today?"caroline asked taking a seat next to me as I laughed, me and caroline have been getting close " No! Who?"I asked " Stefan!"Caroline said as I blushed "oh him! Yeah I met him!"I said " really?? Why is it about Katharine??"she asked "yeah...there friends"I said " Friends! That wont be long, she already likes him"Caroline said my heart sank, "oh.. that's good for her"I said as I looked at my work

Lunch time was happening and I really wanted to see Elena, I walked around as I saw her sitting down in a corner with her headphones in and reading a book as her lunch was right beside her. She's seems so different from Katharine. I decided to walk to her as she took a bite of her apple "hi there"I said as I got no respond, I bend down and got close to her face, once she looks at me she jumps and moves her head I laughed as she took off her headphones "hi"I said, she looked at me confused "uh..Hi Stefan"she said getting up. Her hair was all over her face, she moved the strains away and looked at me with those brown eyes " What are you reading there?"I asked "uh... To kill a mocking Bird"she said, I looked at the book and nodded "cool, is it good because you seem to have your eyes glued to the book"I said causing her to laugh " its really good"she said "ELENA!!!,Stefan!!" We both stopped talking when we heard the voice, I turned around and Katharine comes with a smile towards us.. I noticed everyone was looking at us "hey Elena, how's your book? Stefan what are you doing here?"she asked annoyed "uh..I came to say hi to your sister"I said " noone says hi to Elena! Why you?"Katharine asked Elena looked down, why is she being rude to her sister " isn't she your sister?"I asked "so.."she asked " I mean why are you being so rude to Elena?"I asked " its fine Stefan! "Elena said picking up her stuff as she looked at Katharine " ill see you at home"Katharine said. Elena walked off and I see Caroline running to her " What was that all about! Katharine you don't own me"I said " I know! I just don't want you in the wrong crew"Katharine said " what crew? I was talking to your sister"I said annoyed "stefan, don't be mad at me! I'm protecting you, now how about we go to that carnival we have today?"she asked " I don't know.."I said I wasn't really feeling to go "please..! I'll be fun!"Katharine said I gave in and nodded "okay, I'll go!"I said as she smiled and jumped into my arms hugging me, I finally noticed the whole crew left there ways, they weren't here...

-Caroline-

I know Katharine is a hard person especially with Elena but that's her way of looking out for her, I ran after Elena who went to the bathroom, I heard whimpers I sighed "Elena?"I said " Caroline?"she asked "yeah, Its me hun!"I said she got out and her eyes were bloodshot red, " why did Katharine have to embarrassing me like that, it isn't fair"Elena cried "hey, believe it or not, Katharine is just looking out for you"I said as she huffed " please! That's Katharine getting all the attention she wants"Elena said causing me to widen my eyes noone ever talked about Katharine liked that and I never knew her own twin sister will be the first " sometimes I wish I never had Katharine in my life"Elena said " dont say that, she's your sister"I said " you don't know here, you wouldn't understand and why am I telling you this.... Your her best friend!"Elena said I sighed " your secret is safe with me, Elena wipe those tears away and get out and smile"I said smiling, she laughed and wipped her tears and walked out " you okay?"Stefan asked wait, they know eachother " Stefan, this isn't Katharine!"I said " I know, I'm sorry Elena"Stefan said he knows her name?? " thanks"she said as she walked past him " you know Stefan?"I asked "yeah! We met at my place!"she said really? " oh yeah?"I asked and she nodded " he seemed nice but my sister marked him which means stay away, I'm not getting near him"she said so assure I halfed smile, if only I believed that was true, the way Stefan looked at her, made sure she was okay I Never seen anyone do that, not even for Katharine! I just hope Elena stays away from Stefan If she knows what's good for her
