"Bade papa" whispered Shaan sensing Shivaay being awake,  who was wiping his tears. The twinkling in Shivaay's eyes was enough for Shaan to know he heard everything. He couldn't meet up to his gaze knowing he heard all.

"Excuse-me" he whispered through tears getting up from his bed. Shivaay tugged his wrist stopping him from moving.

Turning back Shaan found Shivaay in tears, looking upwards he whispered " sorry!". That moment Shaan came to his level.

"No bud..um bade papa! Why are you asking sorry?" Shaan nodded negatively settling beside him.

"I am sorry beta! That you faced all this alone. I was soo into my sorrow that I neglected you and your brothers , that wasn't my intention but I couldn't gather courage and strength to stand again. I'm sorry. I didn't know my absence will cause this effect in your life. Please forgive your super hero. I know I did injustice with you by pushing you away from me but please " before Shivaay could continue , Shaan crashed himself in his arms crying and sobbing.

"No..no bade papa you are not at fault. It's just the circumstances. I don't blame you but I feel bad when you pushed me away from you. I just miss you very badly , not only me Shaurya , Hriday , dad and chachu all miss you bade papa. We love you a lot. Please atleast dont hate me." Shaan sobbed resting his hand on Shivaay's chest. Slightly slapping his cheeks Shivaay made him look

" can a buddy hate his other buddy?" He joked rubbing away Shaan's tear flown cheeks.

"Bade.." befoer Shaan could complete

"haan! Buddy! You forgot our buddy code?" He questioned fake frowningly.

Nodding his head negatively he whispered "Buddy!".  Smiling widely at Shaan "that's like my buddy!" Shivaay told ruffling his hairs. "You know one thing buddy?" Shaan asked he rubbed off Shivaay's lone tear.

"Haan?" He asked curiously.

"You are my first and last best friend. Even when you were not there with me I didn't making any best friends" he told smiling ear to ear. 

"Hawww! Then whom would share your secrets with ?" Shivaay asked curiously not minding that he just reacted like his Anika. But Shaan saw his reaction which resembles just like his Badi ma , his angel. Tears brimmed his again but in a moment her composed himself for the man in front of him. If he could miss her terribly then think about the man who is seated in his front. She was his wife! He can no where fathom his amount of pain and loneliness Shivaay went through.

"To you of course!" He shrugged stating and laying on the bed sideways with the help of his arms.

"How?" Shivaay asked being shocked.
