Chapter 11: The Quest to Save their Loved Ones

"We gotta go help them!", said Lloyd.

"Lloyd is right", said Kira,"We still have two quests to do. One, to save our parents and two, saving our loved ones. I don't know what else to do, but I can't leave Cole alone. Even Akita and our parents".

Then, an idea popped into Raphael's head.

"I have an idea!", he said,"Since we have two quests to do, what if the Ninja and the RC go on a quest together?".

"That's a great idea, Raphael!", said Kira,"We could always use extra help".

"Ours too", said the Ninja team.

"So, what do you say, crusaders? And also the Ninja and their allies?", asked Kira,"Are you in?".

Everyone responds and agreed by jumping up high shouting,"GO! NINJA-GO!".

And they begin on a quest to save their loved ones! They work together really well. Nothing can stop them.

Along the way, Kira thought about what she and Cole talked earlier while preparing for the campfire.

A while, earlier...

"So", said Cole talking to Kira,"Do you have any friends aside from the RC".

Kira stopped, looked at him and answered,"Yes. And I'll tell you the story all about her".

"Nice, Kira!", said Leira.

Everyone listens as Kira tells the story about her and Kayrah,"It all started out since we were children".

This is the start of the flashback. Young Kira and young Kayrah were doing everything together. The original version has brown shoulder-length hair and normal (yellow) skin just like the others. There was a rivalry that young Kira had to choose between young Kayrah and some random girl.

"Kayrah and I have been with each other since 2nd grade. At first, there was a BFF triangle, but at the end, we're still friends", she continued.

They were talking to each other for a long time.

"We've been getting to know each other for more than ten years. And just before graduation in middle year college, I learned that she had a crush on you, Lloyd", she continued again,"After that, she gave me final words before we left".

"I'll miss you, Kira", said young Kayrah hugging her.

"I'll miss you too, Kayrah", said young Kira as they let go of their hugging.

"Oh, and remember", said young Kayrah,"Promise me that I will be Lloyd's girlfriend. Understand?".

"Yes, Kayrah", answered young Kira,"I promise".

"Good", said young Kayrah as they left.

This is the end of the flashback.

"And that's when we never see other again. I've been keeping this promise for years. It was until I saw Akita kissing Lloyd on his cheek to thank him for saving her realm", she concluded.

"Whoa", said Cole being shocked,"That's why you used to be friends, but Kayrah is jealous of Akita".

She nodded her head.

"We should talk more", said Cole.

"We would, but let's focus on a preparing to rest for the night", said Kira.

"Okay", said Cole.

"Nice one, Kira!", said Clara.

Kira smiles and rolls her eyes as they continue preparing their campfire.
