SET OF EYES; Mattia Polibio

~Part 9~

Gabriellas POV

Days passed and it was currently Friday. I got out of bed and got ready. I wasn't really a morning person, so if I was moody in the mornings you just had to deal with it. I already wanted this day to end, but it barely even started.

I walked down stairs and said bye to my mom, who was the only one currently awake ..

" Au revoir maman!"

I quickly got in the car and drove up to a near by coffee shop. I ordered an ice coffee and a muffin and left. While I was driving I took a few bites of my food while listening to a playlist I found on Spotify.

I reached the school and locked the car before I sped off to my class.

I quickly ran inside before the bell rang. I had Math in the morning, which wasn't really ideal but I had it with my best friend Jessica.

Me and her are still really close but she just spends a little more time now with Kairi, since they started dating on Wednesday.

RIIINNNNNNGGGGGG !!!

"There goes the bell for lunch"

I said to myself. I quickly pushed through the cafeteria doors and made my way to the line. I noticed Emmett was there and so he waved at me and I waved back.

"Hey, Gabriella"

He said. "I almost forgot, I'm still up to hang out together, but it can't be my house tonight. My sister has some friends over and they tend to be really loud, but we can go to the mall if you want?" He asked smiling and showing off his pure white teeth. "Sounds like a plan" I said while slightly blushed. "Would you like to sit with me and  my friends" He said while pointing at a table of guys. "Sorry, I kinda wanna sit with the boys and Jessica and catch up, if that's okay with you?" I said being worried. "Yea, that's fine I have you after school" He said.

"Cya!"

I waved back and walked to the the boys. "Hi guys!" I all waved to them. "Hey Gabi!" Was all said around the table. There was a seat beside Alvaro so I sat down. I noticed Mattia sat across from me, and soon I noticed him smile once we made eye contact.

"I've been meaning to ask you if you wanted to hang out tonight?"

He asked. I frowned at the question realizing it would be a no. "Sorry Mattia, I cant hangout tonight, I kinda have plans tonight with someone else..." I said trying to not look at his sad eyes.

"Whos this someone, you decided to go with and ditch mattia polibos offer on huh?

Alvaro said in an accent while joining in the conversation. "Yea, who is this someone?" Mattia asked while raising an eye brow. Now 2 set of eyes were on me trying to get an answer out of me.

"He's just a friend"

I said. "OH so he's a boy!" Alvaro said. "Yea, me and him are just going to HANG-OUT" I said while trying to emphasize the word hang-out. "Okay suit yourself, if I were you I would of chose to ditch that someone and go with my baby Mattia" Alvaro said while having a flirtatious tone.

I looked at Mattia and he looked sad. I asked him what was wrong and all he said was "I'm fine" which I know he's not. I didn't wanna bother him, so I just sat there on my phone until the bell rang.

Mattias POV

All I could think of was, who was that boy? What did he look like? What made HER decide to ditch me and go to that person? What was so special about him?

I was upset, not really at her but at me. If I wasn't so bitchy when I first met her. I could've made her mine.

....

Woah, slow down Mattia. Did I just say I want her to be mine? Am I crazy or ..  I have got to stop think about her but I can't.

Hey guys! Sorry again. I went to a party yesterday and went home at like 1 am. I might update and upload another chapter but not right now. I have a test for science I have to study for and i am strugglin. Ngl I was about to end all of this. Okay bye bye I'm going to study now
