Crime

Lauren's POV

I sit down pressing Normani's ID caller. I bring the phone up to my ear as it rings. After three rings Normani finally picks up.

"Normani where the fuck are you?" "What do you mean you can't come?" "Mani are you serious." "No it's fine Mani just finish your work I'll see you tonight."

I hang up sighing. I stand up pushing my chair in and walking out the chilly air of Coast City hitting me. I walk to my car getting in. I put the key in the ignition and pull out of the parking spot. I tap my finger on the steering wheel as I look out of the window.

I see a mysterious man that's wearing all black following a young blonde woman. I quickly park my car in a dark alley way and get into the back seat. I change into my suit and get out of my car. I stalk around seeing what the guy might be up to.

They round the corner and soon I hear a scream. I run up rounding the corner and see the man with a pocket knife up to the woman's neck.

"Let her go!"

"Ah shit Wonder Woman," The robber says dropping the woman.

He tries to run away but my rope is faster than him as it wraps around his body. I pull the rope my way and soon he collapses in front of me face first. I bring my rope back hanging it on my weapon belt. I turn him around.

"Now I'll give you one chance to give this beautiful lady's stuff back."

The robber groans and I punch his stomach.

"Do it!" I hiss.

"Ok, ok I will don't do anything please," The robber begs.

He starts emptying everything he stole from the woman.

"That's all I promise," He says.

I pick him up back onto his feet. I hear sirens of the cops police cars. A police officer comes over and handcuffs the robber. I pick up all the items that belong to the woman and walk over to her.

"I believe these belong to you," I smile handing the blond her things.

"Thank you my hero!"

I smile once and disappear in the dark alley way. I successfully get back to my car and changing into my normal clothes. I get in my car and drive out. I finally get to my house opening the front door. I close it and sigh.

"Crime never stops," I whisper.

I fix myself up by showering and changing. Once I'm done I'm in the living room watching a movie. I hear the door open and I pause the movie.

"Your here," I smile at Normani.

She throws her bag on the other couch sitting down next to me.

"Tiring day?" I said.

"Very," She whispers.

Normani lays her head on my shoulder and I un pause the movie.
