Chapter 7

Lucy's P.O.V.
Me and Artemis quickly but quietly ran (as fast as a fat pregnant lady can run) and soon made it to the river that Artemis was talking about. "So what is this brilliant idea that you had?" I question while slightly panting and trying to catch my breath. "Uh well you see-" "you don't have a plan do you." I interrupted her in a monotonous voice as I mentally slapped myself as well. "I uh I did but then I forgot it..." she said while backing away from me slowly as if I was going to slap her, which at the moment I was really thinking about it. "Wait what about making a type of water barrier and going down the river until we get out of here far enough." I suggested. "Oh yeah that would be a smart idea!" Artemis exclaims and puts her hands together concentrating. Soon enough we are climbing into the water to see a beautiful scene with all the fish swimming above us and the water current pushing a little. It was like a little apartment under here. "Wow Artemis can people see us from up there?" I questioned as she looks at me. "Of course not it's like a type of camouflage. My magic won't hold for ever but it will hold long enough for us to get out of here and get closer to that guild of yours." She said with a smile. "Artemis you don't know how happy I am to see you alive. For the longest time I thought that you where dead." I said while little tears dropped down my face. "Oh Lucy I know it's ok." She said as little tears fell from her eyes as well. We grasped each other in a tight hug and reveled in the moment. Nothing can ruin this moment I thought well I spoke a bit to soon.
**Natsu's P.O.V**
Me and Gray soon got to the guild to see the first master standing in the middle of the guild and everyone standing around her. "Well now that Gray and Natsu are here let's begin with explaining the plan. First we need to break into a few teams. I've come up with the teams first team will be the distraction team so the second team can sneak into Zeref's layer. On first team we will have Elfman, Laxus,..." I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying I was just worried about Luce. For some reason I was feeling really dizzy. I was about to ask Mira for some water when I all of a sudden passed out. When I came to I was back in the fields. That's weird. I thought. I looked around but couldn't see Luce. Maybe I was the one that called out to her this time. I looked around and went and sat down by the tree. I guess I can wait for her. Soon I heard a quite little voice that sounded like Luce. "What am I doing here" I heard her say. She looked around and found me sitting by the tree and she came over to sit next to me. "Hey Natsu." She said "did you bring me here?" She asked. I kind of looked at her funny and then gave her a smile. "I guess so I just missed you so much." I said as I started. She looked at me with so much passion and joy. "Natsu me and Artemis made it out of Zeref's clutches we are on our way back to the guild." She said with so much joy it had me crying from all the joy of hearing that. "Really that's tremendous Luce I can't wait until I actually get to see your beautiful shining face again in person. I swear when you get back I will hold you like no Tom and I won't let go don't you worry about a thing." I told her with confidence. "I believe in you Natsu. We will hopefully be there soon." She said as her body started to disappear. "No Luce please stay for a little while longer." I begged. "Natsu I have to go I think something is happening to my real body I must go. I live you so very much I will see you in due time." She said as she was almost completely gone I started to cry as I held her close and kissed her forehead. As she dissolved so did my body and soon I woke up in the guilds infirmary. I looked around and saw gramps next to me. "Natsu my boy what has happened?" He asked seriously. "I think Luce and Artemis are in danger."
*Lucy's P.O.V.*
I woke up and saw Artemis holding her hand over my mouth she put a finger over her finger as to say be quiet. I nodded in understanding and she pointed up I looked up and saw some monsters of Zerefs army above us. I mentally started to panic as they got closer to the river which I mean we have the advantage here with Artemis being the water dragon slayer and everything so if we do have to fight hopefully we will be able to. "They definitely been here I can smell them they seem really close." One of the monsters said coming closer to the river. "We should cross the river and head closer to that reached guild they belong to." Another one said. "Patience Tempester." One with these big evil looking horns and weird helmet type thing that couldn't allow you to see all of their face. She had enormous claws that seemed like they could tear you to pieces. Not to mention the tremendous amount of magical power she was wielding.

"Ahh don't be so hard on Tempester now Kyoka." Another one said. She was wearing a kimono and had horns as well. Though this one looked almost completely human if she didn't have the horns I don't think I would have been able to tell the difference. She had a weird looking tattoo in the middle of her forehead that looked like a weird eye.

These people all posses such magic power. "You are one to talk Sayla." The one named Tempester said. He was even weirder then the two girls he looked like he was a lion on two legs. He had a huge glare and looked as if he was going to kill the two girls.

"Oh all of you shut your traps." Another human looking one said. He looks a lot like Gray he has a scar going from his right brow down to his chin. He had armor on and on the right chest plate the words Absolute Zero where written in dark black ink.

"Lucy what are we going to do I can't hold my magic for much longer." Artemis whispered to me. "Do you think we can go a little while longer down the river I think I have some scent remover in my bag we can stop put some on and probably walk for a while." I said as quietly as I could. Artemis nodded and we started to float a little longer down the river. About thirty more minutes went by and we stopped and put on scent remover. Natsu wait a little longer we are almost there.
