"I was watching everything. I saw how you yelped when he grabbed your wrists and said what he said," Demi said. I looked down and fiddled with my sleeves. "Ok. I get bullied at school. A lot. They call me things like Chunky, Chubs, Burger Queen, Fatty Patty, and things like that. They also call me an attention whore and so do my demons in my head. They scare me and I can even see them sometimes. They told me it would be ok to cut and that no one would care. I only did it once though I promise." I said. She stared into my eyes like she was looking for something. After a few moments of silence, Demi said, "But you're so beautiful." I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right," I mumbled. "I just wish you could see it," she said. "I'm not beautiful at all. I'm a fat whale who doesn't deserve to live," I said. Demi looked at me with tears forming in her eyes. I didn't know what to do. I needed to die. And I needed to die now. I ran out of my room and rushed downstairs. I could hear Demi's protests but I ignored them. I ran outside and got on my bike. I pedaled as fast as I could to the city bridge. Once I got there I hopped off my bike. I slowly walked to the ledge and put my shaking hand on the railing. I put my other hand on the railing and faced the edge. I lifted myself up and situated myself so now I was sitting on the ledge. "I love you," I whispered. Just as I was about to fall, I felt two warm arms wrap around my waist and pull me into a soft and welcoming body. The arms held me tightly, refusing to let me go. I heard another car approach and everyone from the house came out. "Prue!" my mother called as she ran towards me with the others. I still struggled to get out of the embrace. My mom practically crashed into me. She had tears falling down her face. She wiped away my tears and stroked my hair. "Baby why would you try to do that?" she asked. I couldn't answer her. I looked down at my shoes. I leaned into my captives chest and heard humming. It's Aunt Demi. Molly, Caitlyn, and Emily threw themselves into me. They were all crying. "Don't you ever scare us like that again," Molly ordered. They couldn't know I was trying again tonight.
