A/N:  I unpublished this story for a day wanting to rewrite it, but after some heavy contemplation I settled with just editing it instead because people seemed to like the story regardless even tho I myself am not that much happy with it.

I love the concept, so I'm thinking about making another KiriBaku story surrounding it, and decided that this work wasn't bad enough to be unpublished and rewritten completely.

I hope you enjoy. Have a nice day.

Bakugou Katsuki, a platinum blond ball of rage and a prince of a respected kingdom, Bakuhatsuba. The land was known for its colors and beauty and, of course, the unforgettable royal family, Bakugou.

Katsuki was always stuck inside the castle, almost never having privacy and always having to have a body guard by his side no matter where he went.

But tonight, the 10 year old had a plan of escape.

He wasn't dumb enough to run away and was grateful to live such a privilege life, but he wanted to go explore on his own for once.

So quietly, ever so quietly, after everyone had gone to sleep, including the body guard that had next to always failed to stay awake during his night shift and usually slept standing up, he hoisted a prepared bag over his shoulder and got ready to climb out of the window.

Carefully, the blond boy maneuvered his way down the pipe and the vine ladder and softly landed with both feet on the ground. He stealthily crept through the garden and struggled to lift his little body up on the wall.

He scoffed as he took out a loose ladder he 'borrowed' from the equipment room of weapons, a proud smirk gracing his young face as he rolled it down the side of concrete. It didn't touch the bottom and he'd have to jump to climb up on it, but it didn't matter if it meant being free for a couple of hours.

Katsuki planted his feet on the ground, celebrating slightly before turning on a big lamp and making sure his shoes were tied.

"That was way too easy," he muttered proudly as he strolled off into the woods. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't creepy. The trees shadowed him from the moonlight and the nocturnal creatures made weird, ghoulish sounds as the dead leaves crunched under his feet. He knew the dangers of animals: especially snakes. But there was a reason why he wanted to go into the woods instead of the city.

It was rumored that dragons and magical creatures were present, and Deku always talked about fairies and witches as well as ghost that littered the forest, and he'd be damned if he didn't get to see some sort of mystical creature before he turns 11.

He strolled for a good while until he heard the nightly sounds stop. It was just silence with exception of his feet pattering against the leaves. Suddenly, a giggle was heard from a distance and the blond snapped his light in the direction of the sound.

"Who's there?" he whispered excitedly. Another giggled from behind him and he whipped around, shining his light. A shadow was seen from the corner of his eye and he slowly turned the light in that direction. A boy with shoulder length black hair and bright glowing red eyes was looking at him with a smile. He was dressed in what seemed like civilians clothes with a black jean vest, a shredded white shirt and red cargo shorts with bare feet. Katsuki stumbled back, startled and slightly afraid from the sudden appearance and hoped the boy was harmless.

"Mina! Mina it's a human!" the boy exclaimed frantically, turning and exposing read, scaly wings. The blond gasped in delight and his red eyes snapped to him. Suddenly, pink glitter lit up above following a pink orb of light. And poof, a girl with a teal and purple dress with pink fairy wings that glittered gold appears beside him. Her messy pink hair along with her pink skin illuminated bright enough where if Bakugou was to turn off his lamp, he could still see.

"Oh! A human! We haven't had one of those in a while now!" she said happily, turning to the boy in excitement. "Sero! C'mere!"

A flash of white caught his eyes as he witnessed a black crow transforming into a human. His face was plain and his short chopped hair was black. The only thing keeping him different from a normal human was his peculiar height and funky elbows.

Bakugou rubbed his eyes, unable to believe what he was seeing. He looked up again and the same group of creature were still there. His face lit up as a proud smile tugged his cheeks.

"Who are you..?" he said cautiously, yet incapable of hiding his joy. The group turned to him, all with excited smiles.

The girl twirled, her dress flowing with the movement as she giggled.

"It's a kid too! Omg I can't believe it!" she bounced up to him and took his cool hands in her warm ones. "I'm Ashido Mina! But call be Mina!" She gestured towards the tall child. "And that's Sero Hanta!"

The boy with red eyes stepped forward with a curious look. "Who are you?" he asked back, his sharp teeth catching the blond off guard. But regardless, he puffed out his chest full of confidence.

"Bakugou Katsuki. Prince of Bakuhatsuba," he said quiet loudly, careful to pull his hand away from the girl.

They all gasped with glee as they ran up to the boy, almost making him drop his lamp. "You're a prince?!" They yelled in unison, in which he gave a curt nod. He wasn't one to share much information, but these weird creatures didn't seem to look too dangerous.

"Oh wow! It's nice to meet you! I'm—"

A loud growl infected the woods. The red eyed boy face went from glee to terror as Bakugou's stomach churned and twisted as he sensed danger.

"It was nice to meet you too but you have to get out of here!" the girl whisper-yelled. "Quickly!" She pushed the boy as he glared at her but whimpered when another loud growl boomed in his ears. He hesitated as curiosity and fear swirled in his stomach.

"Hurry!" The tall boy gave him a pleading look and he sprinted. His flashlight flickered as he ran.

He saw the light of the moon illuminate the castle wall and he ran faster, just as another growl reverberated through the forest. He tripped over a branch and lost his black shoe that had an explosion design on the side of it, but he got up and ran, leaving the shoe as he quickly, but quietly, climbed the ladder up the wall.

He tucked the ladder in his back pack along with the now dimmed lamplight and climbed back up to his window stealthily.

As soon as the window was closed, he allowed himself to relax. His breath was heavy as buckets of sweat rolled down the side of his face. His clothes were caked in dirt and he only had one shoe. He soon got up and moved his dresser to hide his bag behind in the secret compartment out of view with a deep and panicked breath.

"Holy sh-shit..." he cursed. He took a couple of breaths and patted his chest, trying to calm down his pounding heartbeat.

He looked at the time and it was early in the morning, almost 5, which meant he'd have to get up in 3 hours. He sighed and went to his personal bathroom. He turned on the shower, not worried since he had his his bathroom sound proofed since he'd like to throw tantrums and scream at the top of his lungs in there.

After he was done, he sat at his desk with a sigh and wrote down the names of the three creatures in his diary. Until he came across a problem, he only knows two. He tried to remember the boy in the middle, but realized he never said his name. He sighed. Welp, it couldn't be helped, but at least he knows that the rumors are true.

He closed his journal and climbed into bed.

Katsuki was plagued with nightmares for the rest of the night.
