Bakugou walked down the corridor, hands straight by his side. The uniform was starched stiff to where he could hardly move without crinkling the clothes and he hated it. If it was his choice, he would've gone in loose trousers.
And another thing that he hated was that he had to slick his hair. He had a fight with his mom and was forced to style it instead of letting it go unruly. He wanted to jump out of the tallest tower since.
The bodyguard that was always with him opened the door to the dining room. The chandeliers flaunting their wealth and the medieval style room was painted an electric orange with dark marble tile exhibited on the floor. At the modern looking dining table sat his parents, and their friends, the Midoryia's along with some business men. He scowled at his mother, angry at her for making him come and even more furious that she didn't tell him Deku was coming.
"Ah, Katsuki! It's good to see you again!" Inko smiled, clasping her hands together. His gaze went to a golden haired man with bright blue eyes. He had a muscular build and the boy recognized him instantly. "Ah, this is Toshinori!"
"Yes, I know," Bakugou said unimpressed. He sat down across from his glaring mother with a sigh. He wanted nothing more than to sit in his room in peace and study.
"Hi-Hi Kacchan," Deku greeted nervously. The blond rolled his eyes and snarled when he felt his mother kick his shin.
"Hi." He gritted his teeth and said nothing for the rest of the meeting. After his mother dismissed him, he slouched back to his room, Deku following his tail which made him groan. He turned a corner when he decided to say something.
"Umm, I went into the forest the other night..." Bakugou's eyes widened as he shoved the boy in his room, locking it behind them before the guard could argue.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Bakugou reprimanded with a curt glower. "You could've been killed! Do you not remember last time?"
Deku shrugged. "I remember alright, but this time I found something.." he blushed a bit. "There was a boy, his hair was half white and half red and he had two different colored eyes! There was also a girl with pink chubby cheeks and they were both magical! The girl was a witch and the boy was a mage and they helped me find my way back home!" He said with a dreamy smile.
"Did...Did you ask..?" Bakugou asked hesitantly. He didn't like to talk about that night, but he had to know: what was the growling?
The boy nodded as he visably gulped. "Y-Yeah...they said those were the dragons trying to scare away the demons that are trying to take over the forest." Deku looked off to the side. "They ushered me out of the forest because demons were nearby."
After all this time, he finally found the answer to his nightmares. It's wasn't the growling that tried to kill him, it was a warning that tried to save him.

Once again, Bakugou packed a bag, the same bag that had been behind his dresser for years, now armed with loads of information he'd studied over the the past decade as well as the encounter of Deku and wizards. He snuck out the window with stealth and did the same thing he did 9 years ago.
He wandered down the garden, noticing an old shed that was built but now abandoned since the greenhouse had a new equipment shed. Katsuki still used it though, to study when the castle got too loud and sometimes spent the night in there if it got too late. It had a cellar and stove, something his mother disapproved of, but had to acknowledge his strong urge for independence so she let him have what he wanted.
He climbed down the wall, careful not to make loud noises. He studied demons and creatures and dragons over those 9 years and knows they get alerted by a lot of noise.
He softly landed on the ground as stealthily as a cat. He turned on his flashlight and started his trek into the forest.
The crunching of leaves made him cringe and on edge, careful not to alert any creatures in the trees, but that didn't slow him down. He learned to be light on his feet during his sword practices.
He didn't know how far he went or how much time has passed, and it seemed to go on forever until he saw a giant creature in the distance. He paused for a moment before slowly continuing.
The creature was in a clearing, it's big dazzling tail glimmering in the crescent moons light. Bakugou's heart seemed to stop when he noticed what it was.
A dragon.
It was dark crimson and had to be 10 feet taller than the 5'7 blond. It was a few meters long and it's wings were folded up neatly into its torso. Bakugou gasped, one out of shock and two out of awe. But he instantly cursed at his reaction because the beast noticed him. It's piercing red eyes matching his own, except, they widened.
The blond made no move to leave or run in fear. He wasn't a coward, and desired to study the creature.
He eventually stepped closer, his sword on his side and placed a hand on the hilt in case he needed to draw. The beast stood up, it's height almost doubling in size. Bakugou gulped discreetly.
He was in front of the beast in no time, staring up into its lizard like eyes. Then it did something he'd never had ever guessed it would do.
'...Is this bitch smiling?'
The blond backed away, halfway unsheathing his sword before red smoke circled the dragon, making Katsuki stumble back and coughing in its wake. It was barely a second before the figure shrunk. Bakugou covered his mouth and waved his other hand, a scowl adorning his features as the fog cleared.
His heart soared in delight but didn't dare show it. When the wisps lifted, it exposed a man around his age. Spiky red hair and red eyes to match. He was covered by a black vest and a red cloak tied over his black ripped jeans. His feet were bare.
Katsuki glared with caution, shoving his weapon back in its sheath as he faced the stranger with confidence.
"Hello!" said the red haired man with excitement, jogging up to the wary prince. He stopped right in front of him with a wide, toothy smile, exposing his sharp teeth.
"Who are you?" Katsuki asked with a scowl, still taking in his appearance.
"Oh? You don't remember?" He asked with a disappointed look. "I can't blame you though, I wasn't the most outstanding kid." He chuckled slightly.
"I don't know you, but I'm looking for two people-er, creatures? Nah," Bakugou shook his head. "I give up on politeness. Just give me your fucking name." Bakugou scowled, shoving his hands in his pockets. Dragon-man's eyes widened in surprise.
"Such vulgar language for a prince," he laughed. "You changed a lot."
"I don't give-wait." Bakugou glared at him as he kept back and drew the sword that was now pointed at his throat. "How do you know I'm a fucking prince?"
An amused expression crossed his features as he studied Katsuki's perfect and relaxed form.
"Because I remember you, Prince Bakugou."
