the bus ride pt. 2 - day 1

Sophie's pov

We're now heading back to the bus, Sander is telling us how they got in there. "Well Levi saw the building and thought it would be cool to explore it." Sander tells. "Oh so now it's all my fault?" Levi says "you also wanted to go." He adds. "It's definitely not only your fault, we were just dumb and didn't know the consequences." Sander says. "You assholes better stop arguing and be happy that we're still alive." Milo yells. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Well we almost fell through the floor." Milo says. I look at Sam, Sam just nods his head at me. I turn back to the other boys. "You dumbasses could've died in there." I yell at them. "We know okay, we know we maybe made a little mistake." Levi says. "Little? We almost fucking died, I didn't even wanna go in there." Milo yells. "Stop arguing and let's go to the bus." Sam yells. "Thank you." I say. We walk back to the bus with the 9 of us.

When we get back in the bus I'm the last one to walk in. Then I see David is suddenly in this bus, so that means I have to go to the other bus. I start walking away, then someone grabs my hand and pulls me back. I look back and see Luke, he pulls me onto his lap. I'm now sitting on Luke's lap thinking about what's even happening. "Does Luke like me?" Is going through my head the whole time. Then the bus starts riding, Luke wraps his arms around my waist so I don't fall from his lap. Did I mention that Luke is like the tallest boy on our school tho? He's almost 6'3 ft tall, which is nice cause I'm 5'9 ft tall. Okay I'll admit it, I maybe like Luke a little little bit. At least I think... He's sweet, he's nice to me and my friends and he's tall. I lay my head on Luke's chest and then I doze off to is sleep.

~ time skip to 1 hour later ~

I wake up by a hand going through my hair. I open my eyes but the light is too bright for my eyes. I quickly close my eyes again and burry my face in the crook of Luke's neck. Luke wraps his arms around me. A few seconds later I lift my head to see Sam. He clearly was looking at me and Luke before he quickly turned his face the other way. "I'll be right back." I tell Luke.

Sam's pov

Shit she's looking at me. She must've seen me looking at her and Luke. I quickly turn my head the other way. Oh god, I hate how close she is with Luke. I like that girl more than anyone else. I know her since I was 5 years old. We were in the same class, we also became friends then. When I was 13 I realized I like her. But since I was 14 I sort of got feelings for her, which grew every day. Now it's a problem, I get jealous too quickly. Actually that's exactly what just happened, I hate it. A tear is rolling down my cheek, probably because of my jealousy and because I can't take that she is so close with Luke. Ah shit now she's walking this way. I hope she doesn't notice I'm crying, crying over her actually.

Sophie's pov

I start walking Sam's way, I notice something what I think is a tear on Sam's cheek. I sit down on his lap, he looks at me and gives me the saddest smile. "Baby, what's wrong?" I ask while cupping Sam's cheek. "It- it's... you kno- it's just... never mind just let it go." Sam says sobbing. "You know you can tell me everything right?" I say, I wipe his tear away. "Yea.. I know.. but if I tell you this it'll fuck everything up." Sam says. I wonder what he means.. "Baby, please tell me, I don't want you to be sad. Maybe I can help you?" I say while smiling at him. "Yes I'm sure u can, I'll tell you when we're in the hostel okay?" Sam says. "Okay." I say. I give Sam a hug, he hugs me back and lays his head on top of mine. I love how tall Sam is, he's just a bit shorter then Luke. My head is in the crook of Sam's neck, like that I fall asleep.

~ time skip to 2 hours later ~

I wake up, I'm still on Sam's lap. I lift my head a bit and look up at Sam. He looks down at me and kisses my head. "Hi babygirl." He says. I scrunch my nose up. I think I blushed a bit at that nickname. I love him so much. Woah wait what did I just think about my best friend? Wow I never noticed how much I actually like Sam. While just looking him in his eyes I realize that I really do have feelings for him. His eyes are beautiful omg. I just hug him again. It's not healthy how much I like him, I don't get how I never noticed that I have feelings for Sam. Well, I ever thought about it but it never really got to me. I'm falling for my best friend..

"Wanna watch the last episode of stranger things again?" Sam asks smiling. "Ooh yes of course!" I say. Sam takes his iPad, a bag of skittles and an iced caramel macchiato from the gas station out of his bag and hands me it. "For you." He says while giving me the cutest smile. "Aww ur so sweet bub." I say as I give him a kiss on his cheek. Sam blushes a bit. Anyway, Sam starts the last episode. He wraps his arms around me, I lay my head on his chest and like that we watch stranger things. At this moment I don't care about Matt and Cas making pics, oh they are also 'friends' of me tho. Anyway we're now at the point where Jim and Joyce are planning a date, then I start thinking. "I can't date Sam, he's not just my best friend but also Maya's brother. And Maya is also one of my best friends. She'll probably hate me for that, or she'll be happy for me and Sam." Those decisions are so hard omg.. I just continue watching.

The episode ended, I look up at Sam. "It was so cute when you cried over Billy and Jim." He says. "Shut up, they are my babies." I say. "Oh.." Sam says. I chuckle "And you are my baby baby." I say. "I like that nickname." Sam chuckles. "Well me too." I say while burying my face in Sam's hoodie. We got those hoodies with our names on it from school. Anyway, I lift my head to see where Luke is, but he isn't in his seat anymore. Maya is now in Luke's seat and Luke is sitting next to Peyton. They are hella intimate but I think Peyton doesn't like Luke. Lucky me, I can go for Sam now.. Sam and I just watch some more stranger things until we arrived at the hostel. We all walked out of the bus and grabbed our suitcases and bags and go inside the hostel.
