Chapter 13

Bucky was in his room when Sam came inside
"You ok" Sam asked carefully
"I'm cuddled up in a bunch of blankets and I'm holding my favorite stuffed animal which is a unicorn" Bucky peeked out of his blanket
"You always do this when you're upset" Sam guessed
"Correct" Bucky nodded
"Well can you tell me about your stuffed unicorn, you seem to be very fond of it" Sam sat down on the bed
"Well mom loves unicorns as you know so she gave me and Wanda stuffed unicorns because she told us it would kind of be like our friend which it is in a way" Bucky explained
"Does it have a name" Sam asked
"Yes but the name is kind of cheesy I think but I was a child when I named it" Bucky blushed
"What did you name it" Sam asked smiling
"Floof" Bucky told him
"Sounds like a name only you would name a stuffed animal" Sam said
"Well I was five" Bucky reminded him
"You miss those days" Sam asked
"Of course I do, I didn't have to worry about crazy friends that my mom used to know" Bucky motioned for Sam to come and cuddle with him
"Well at least you have me now" Sam wrapped Bucky in his arms
"I know, and I'm glad" Bucky smiled
"You feeling any better" Sam asked
"A little, but then again I just found out that Rachel may have been the one who pushed me down the stairs" Bucky sighed
"I'm gonna protect you" Sam kissed his forehead
"What if she hurts you" Bucky looked at Sam
"As long as you're safe, it doesn't matter besides I have Floof the stuffed unicorn on my side" Sam smiled
"You're never gonna let me live it down are you" Bucky asked laughing
"It's adorable" Sam played with his hair
"Well I just told you I have a stuffed unicorn which I'm honestly very proud of" Bucky told him
"We can have a little family, me, you, and Floof the unicorn" Sam smiled
"Honestly if Wanda hears about this, she's never going to let me live this down" Bucky remembered
"Who cares if she says anything, its our little family" Sam told him
"Yep" Bucky yawned
"Are you tired" Sam asked
"Yeah" Bucky cuddled closer to Sam
"Can I tell you one more thing" Sam asked
"What" Bucky mumbled sleepily
"I love you" Sam said
Bucky looked at Sam and he just thought
"Did he just say he loves me but what do I say"
