"Damn that smile gets me every time"
"Uhm. Thanks?" He laughs, "Wait, did I say that out loud?" Jodie shuts her locker, "You are turning into an Ed Sheeran song." She said, "How's the weather up there?" Someone asks Jodie as they are walking past.
"Yeah. You did." He collects the rest of my papers and hands them to me, "I just came here to ask you if you wanted to go to this place with me?"
I raise one eyebrow, "Right now?" He nods, "Yeah." Jodie laughs, "Dunkleman is eager." He smacks her on the arm, "Am not." I laugh a bit, "Sure. I don't have anything to do."
He smiles again, "Perfect. Come on." He grabs my hand and pulls me into the theater room. I guess he knew theater was a passion of mine.
I look around the theater room. I see a piano, props from old plays, and everything. "Holy crap. It's beautiful" Jack sighs, "Yeah. Too bad they are taking it down now. I whip my head around, "What?" He nods.
"They don't have enough money to keep it." I look around and tears start forming in my eyes. He comes in front of me, "Hey. Guess what? We can raise money to keep it." He smiles. I wipe the tears from my face and take a breath. "That's a great idea Jack!" I look around the room and point to this while rambling, no one could've understood me but I didn't care.
I didn't realize that I had my hands on Jacks cheeks and our faces were a centimeter apart. He laughed lightly and smiled at me, "I'm guessing you got what I said in spanish class." I closed my eyes for a second. "Yeah I did."
I took one more breath then kissed him quick and said four words i never thought I'd say.
"I love you too."
