chapter 39: <Aeri's POV>

"I love you." said the girl I love for how many years, I slowly looked at her. I want to make sure I heard that right, "P-Pardon?" I asked not even believing that this is real life.

"I said, I love you Aeri." She smiled and hugged my waist, a smile formed on my lips and I'm so glad to hear that. But I don't believe her yet, "As a friend?" I sadly asked.

I heard her chuckle and pinched my nose, "Yeah as my friend." She joyfully said and looked at me, I just smiled at her even if I was hurt. "As my girlfriend." She added.

My eyes went really wide, my cheeks started to burn so much. "G-Girlfriend?" I asked, I don't really know what to say so I just kept on asking her. Just in case it's all a prank or what.

"Yes dummy, you're my girlfriend. Well, my fiance actually." She got shy all of a sudden, "E-eh? why did you get shy?" I asked once again, when will I run out of questions?

She pulled something out of her pocket and did something to her hand, I confusedly watch her. "I didn't threw this away.." She showed me her hand, she was wearing the ring. The engagement ring.

I automatically smiled at her, "You kept it?" I hugged her tightly. "Of course I did, I waited for you to come back because you promised me that when you come back we'll get married." She said then hugged me back.

"I love you too, Jihyo." I said pulling away from our hug. I smiled at her and gave her a quick peck on her soft lips. "You idiot, I love you more" She said and did the same thing that I did.

This girl never fails to make me happy.

"How about Daniel? your Kangie? Aren't you together or something?" I didn't want to hurt him so I had to ask Jihyo, I was so afraid about Daniel's feeling but this girl started to laugh at me. I looked at her in confusion.

"Daniel? Kang Daniel? Aeri, He's my friend..my childhood bestfriend rather!" She said in between laughs, like I felt my cheeks burn again. Why didn't she tell me that she has a childhood bestfriend?! gosh.

"Park Jihyo, I swear to God I'm going to smack you but I won't because I love you way too much to hurt you--" I didn't get to finish my sentence because she cutted me off with a kiss.

"Don't be jealous, I told you I waited for you." She pinched my cheeks and I was so annoyed about that because I hate that feeling! Grr!

"Hmpk, You made me look stupid." I said then pouted, crossing my arms, trying to act cute.

"Ms. Nam? You're so adorable" She chuckled and gave my pouting lips a kiss. I couldn't stop myself from smiling because she obviously made me melt.

"Ms. Park, You know what's a great idea? Let's go sleep and tell the others about us, okay?" I said turning off the TV. "What a great idea Ms. Nam." She said then cuddled with me.

We slept in each other arms, I missed her so much. I'm glad she waited for me for how many years, I can't wait to tell the others about this good news.
