Detective Sparkle-Cake and The Missing Candy Cane!!!

A/N: OMG!!!! Over 150 reads!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! Anyway, sorry I haven't updated but really it's just because I couldn't be bothered plus a lot of stress that I have in my life right now soooo here's the story for my loyal readers!!! I love you my Llamas with hats!!!!!!
It's soft... And mushy.... I wonder what it could be. I attempt to lift it out of the river with my teeth slightly holding, enabling me to break the surface without losing the mushy thing. I swim (with great difficulty) back to shore with the thing in my mouth.
I drop it on the ground and move a few paces away and shake myself as clean as i can get. I then return to the clue and examine it. It's a piece of marshmallow! What on Earth is that doing in a chocolate river?

"Miss Jally, do you recognise this piece of marshmallow? Does it remind you of anyone or anything?" I asked gently.

"No sir. Not from the top of my head." She replied, in her sweet, innocent voice.

"Hmmm..." I pondered. I decided to take the marshmallow piece back to the station.

"Thank you very much for the help Miss Jally. You can go home now if you like. We will contact you when we find your candy cane." I smiled.

"Ok. Thank you sir!" She sang as she ran off back home.

I trotted my way back to the station. I took a drink from the public drinking fountain (of chocolate) and walked inside.

"Ah there you are Cupcake!" The Boss said as he hopped over to me.

"Yes sir! I found a clue sir! It's a piece of marshmallow. I found it while attempting to swim in the chocolate waterfall!" I excitedly informed him.

"Good job! I'm proud! Now let's see what we can gather from this."

I sat at my desk, thinking about the marshmallow and where it could've come from. And then....

"SIR! COME QUICKLY SIR! I'VE GOT IT!" I shouted as loud as I could so all the land could hear.
