Robyns pov
Jameson storms over towards me while looking at Kayden who hasn't turned to look at Jameson yet.
"I simply decided that I owed Robyn my services. I am trained in being a doctor from my mother. If we are to sign a peace treaty then shouldn't my services be used in anyway that should help your pack?" When he finishes he finally turns around to look at Jameson. Jameson keeps his mouth closed but sends a glare in Kayden's direction.
"The ceremony is tonight. I'm sending Sky and a maid in here to get you dressed and ready. You have 2 hours to get ready the ceremony is taking place at 10pm." I glance at the clock noticing its 7:21 pm. My wolf whines loudly.
"Alpha Jameson I highly suggest that you let her rest. Her body can't stand the strain of walking right now." I hear Kayden say as his jaw is clenched tightly.
"Thank you for the suggestion Alpha Kayden but I think that she will be fine. She will be getting plenty of rest tonight after the ceremony." Jameson and Kayden hold glares with each other even though the words they exchanged were nothing but formal.
"Jameson you called?" Sky's chippy voice bursts through the air effectively ending the glaring contest between the two Alpha's.
"That's Alpha to you and yes. I need you both to get her ready for tonight. You have two hours." He growls lowly at her disrespect.
She squeaks loudly before running over and literally pushing the two Alphas out of the room.
"Two hours??!!! That's not nearly enough time!!!" Once they are both standing in the hallway looking puzzled the door swings shut.
"Do you need help getting up?" Sky runs over to me and puts her hand on my arm.
I turn around on the bed while furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.
I twist my body feeling only a bit of discomfort."What? The pains gone..." Sky looks at me confused and the maid looks shocked as I stand up without much problem.
I carefully walk over to the mirror with sky behind me making sure I don't fall. I glance at her once before I turn back to the mirror and begin slowly taking off the bandages. Hearing Sky gasp I look up at her through the mirror, her eyes wide with her hands covering her mouth."What's wrong?" Turning around to face her I notice the maid with tears in her eyes.
"You.... your back... It's... healed?" My eyebrows furrow in confusion and I twist my head back to look at my back in the mirror. My eyes widen when I realize that there is not a single cut on my back. The welts, the blood, the bruising. All of it was gone.
"How is that possible Robyn?" I look back towards Sky as confusion fills her face. I watch as behind her eyes she's trying to process how merely an hour ago when she saw me my body was covered but now standing before me they magically disappeared. At least that's the story that I'm sticking with. Magic. That's what happened.
"I don't know..." Sky looks like she wants to press on the matter but with one glance towards the clock she pushes this away with a look of explain it later.
"Lets get you ready. Go take a shower quickly. Do not make me go in there after you. I give you 20 minutes." As I groan and walk towards the shower she stops me and hands me a razor. "Don't forget to shave" I blush furiously and she pushes me into the bathroom.
A very short 23 minutes later and a very mad sky pounding at my door I finally managed to finish shaving and washing up. I open the door to the bathroom to sky instantly grabbing me and pushing me into a seat. Thankfully I already have my lacey bra and panties on. She begins working on my wet and very tangled hair as the maid begins laying out my dress and my shoes.
With the maid behind sky handing her everything she needed the whole process only took about 50 minutes to dry and style my hair as well as get my makeup finished. I walk over to my bed and slowly begin putting on my dress with the assistance of Sky. After putting on my shoes Sky makes sure to zip the back of my dress and spray me with a little bit of perfume.
Now it was 10 minutes to 9 o'clock. We still had roughly 30 minutes before the ceremony. With that Sky rushed out of my room to go and get herself dressed complaining about there not being nearly enough time.
I go over the my nightstand and I slip on my bracelet that my father gave me before he passed away. It was a pack heirloom that was passed down to the first born daughter as it was to be worn on their wedding/mating day. Today was going to be my only day I get to way it and having my father with me today seems fitting. I smile sadly at myself in the mirror.
"Time to give up your chance with your mate." I hear Stormy growl and my head pounds. I fall to the ground holding my head in pain.
"Mate! Mate! Mate! Mate!..." Stormy repeats over and over getting louder and more impatient with each time she says it.
"We can't have him. We have Jameson." I feel her glaring at me from inside. Her teeth baring and for the first time. My wolf is actually fighting with me instead of for me. I feel my head hit the floor before I open my eyes and suddenly I'm standing in a field facing my beautiful light tan wolf. She's not small and she's not big. She's bigger than an average wolf but smaller than an alpha wolf. Her stunning orange eyes glare at me and her mouth pulled up into a snarl with spit dripping from the sides.
She's gone feral.
