In the short 15 minutes that Felix has known Minho, he already knew that he was the loyal and protective type. Like a knight in shining armor. Earlier they had heard a suspicious noise in the bushes and Minho had jumped in front of Felix to protect him from whatever danger it could have been. Until the boy realized that the animal was a small cat and had immediately begun to coo over the little ball of fluff.
"We're almost there," Minho said, still carrying the cat who had been named Dori. "I must warn you, counting you and me, there are nine guys who will be sharing the same space."
"Oh, that's a lot of people" Felix muttered. Minho just nodded in acknowledgment as he continued down the path that was leading them home.
While thinking of his soon to be house-mates, Felix noticed that the air in the forest was still. It was as if the forest itself was holding its breath. The stillness made him feel anxious like something was trying to creep up behind him. The tree branches felt like they were closing in on him, and the moisture in the air seemed to weigh him down. In his paranoid state, his mind began to wander thinking of all of the horrible deaths that this forest could give him.
"Watch out!" Minho screamed. That caught his attention, Felix snapped his head towards the sound of Minho's voice only to quickly find that he was falling. The sound of leaves rustling and twigs snapping echoed in his ears as he slowed to a stop.
Looking up towards the canopy of the forest once again, Felix realized that he was in a tiny crater of sorts. Are you kidding me?
"Are you okay?!" Minho called, his face openly displaying his worry. He extended a hand to help Felix up.
"Yeah, thanks. That little crater came out of nowhere" Felix replied while dusting off his pants. This forest was weirding him out, he couldn't wait to ask all of the questions that were piling up in his head. Felix was walking to a nearby tree to lean on while he emptied the pebbles out of his shoes.
When he got to the tree he noticed the state that the tree was in, the state that a lot of the trees were in. Small holes went punctured straight through their trunks, some areas had holes scorched into them, what seemed like knife marks covered them from top to bottom, and some of the trees were snapped in half. What happened here?

As the two boys approached the cottage Felix started to wonder how eight boys had been sharing the space. The house (was this big enough to qualify as a house?) was tiny and couldn't have had more than one floor. The stone walls were old, covered in moss, and looked as if they were ready to crumble. The garden, although charming in its own respect, was slightly overgrown and unkempt. Even the air around them had felt dark and heavy. Had the windows not been glowing Felix would have thought this place was abandoned. There is no way nine people can live here.
Walking up to the entrance Minho opened the creaky door, making sure to keep a good grip on Dori as well. Felix noticed that the door frame was slightly crooked and the door was quite literally about to fall out of its place. Though what shocked him was the amount of space there was inside. As small as the outside had looked the inside had ample space to run around in what seemed to be the living room alone.
"Here we are," Minho smiled with his arms extended. "Welcome to our chaotic abode."
Minho walked in, gesturing for Felix to follow. As soon as Felix stepped inside he could feel the atmosphere lighten considerably. Lost for words he continued to look around the surprisingly large house. The atmosphere inside the house greatly contrasted the one that he felt outside, it was warm, cheery, and made him feel at home.
"Woa-"
"FELIX!"
The said boy didn't have any time to brace himself before the owner of the voice had jumped on him. The sudden impact and shock left him sprawled on the floor for the third time in one afternoon. Apologies began to fly through the air as Felix got up. When he finally looked up he was shocked to find a familiar face.
"Jisung?!" enormous smiles made their ways to the faces of both boys. He pulled his friend into a hug and squeezed him so hard that both boys had begun to worry about their spines.
"Thank goodness you're alright!" Jisung started, relief evident in his tone as he continued on. "I woke up in a tree and I didn't know how to get down, but this nice guy named Chan found me and helped me out. He brought me here and I realized that I didn't know where I was or why I was here."
Upon hearing Jisung mention the boy named Chan, Felix was reminded that Minho said there would be seven other boys in the house. When he managed to pull his attention away from Jisung he was met with seven pairs of eyes as promised. They all looked pretty confused Not knowing what to do, he looked around once more before trying to diffuse the awkward silence with an even more awkward greeting.
"Uhh, hey there." Oh my gosh, I want to disappear.
