Mingi's POV"What are you doing? " I was starting to get pissed off by Yunho's childish behavior this morning.
Yunho dangled my shoe high above his head not too far from my reach but his arms are longer than mine. Rolling my eyes, I slid my hands into my pockets. I was too embarrassed to grab the shoe from him, knowing that he is slightly taller. A grin playing on his face in amusement at my reaction.
"Give it back," I demanded, wondering what made him so playful all of a sudden.
"Seriously, stop playing around." I held out my hand for him to place the shoe in my hand but he ignored me. I reached up not moving from my spot to grab it but I was somewhat shorter.
Gazing at the shoe I jumped attempting to grab it without success. Yunho couldn't hold his laughter looking at my irritated face. Holding in my embarrassment, I avoided his face averting my eyes everywhere but Yunho.
"Give it to me now," I begged Yunho my voice cracking a little. Yunho just laughed at me before handing it back.
I slid my foot into the tortured black shoe and laced it up. On my desk laid bunches of my school supplies and my laptop, I forgot to get all my song lyric ideas and put them in my notebook. I shoved my binders, folders, and pens in my bag before zipping it up and catching up with Yunho in the living room.
"Let's go by the Ateez practice room since we both have time before classes. The rest of them should be there and I really believe you'll become good friends with the rest of Ateez." I only hope that he would except them. Yunho nodded opening our front door allowing me to walk out first.
The long hallway was filled with people and the practice room just happened to be on the other side. Loads of people mixed into the hallway making it hard to get through with all the pushing and shoving.
Yunho and I stepped into the disaster but everyone pulled to the side starting to whisper as I walked down the hallway with Yunho a few feet behind me. The look on his face was probably the most puzzled its ever been but this was completely normal being in a popular singing group for the school. We've even been on tv a couple of times.
While putting my hands in my pocket, Changho appeared on the other side of the hallway with a smirk. I wasn't bothered by him knowing he wouldn't do anything in front of all these people. Especially since his father is dean and he'll get yelled at if he messes with me considering that my mom is the schools biggest donor. If they lose her donations they'll go back to being a school with low income. Not only that because Ateez also brings in half that money too.
My stride keeps its pace until reaching the door. Yunho was distracted by the crowd still looking at us making him run into me.
"I'm sorry." He apologized backing up into Hongjoong who was suddenly behind us. "Oh, I'm sorry." He said again but he was still distracted by the crowd.
The look he gave us was funny making both of us laugh. I pushed open the door allowing both of them to enter before myself. I closed the door and I found myself a seat, it was way to early to practice but Yeosang and Wooyoung seemed to be working hard at it.
"Oh, Mingi are you going to the-" San started getting up from his seat and running over to me but he already knew the answer.
"San, I'm gonna say no every time you ask me, just don't ask me." The frown on his face was heartbreaking but I would rather not go to a party and waste my good time.
