Httyd 4 The War of the Hidden Kingdom

Chapter 1

                                                        

Dawn looked around aimlessly, her brothers were gone, her parents were gone. All around her was black and darkness. Her breathing sped up and her heart raced. She ran forwards and she still just saw dark."Help me!" she screeched. She tried to fly but her wings were shot by arrows and she fell to the ground and screamed,she whimpered in pain. Her eyes closed and her breathing stopped.

She woke up, the world was bright again. But her wings were bloody and her tailfin was scraped. She stood up shakily and she stumbled over to where Dusk and Eclipse were sleeping. Suddenly their wings turned bloody and their fins became scraped. They woke up startled and afraid. She nodded at them and they hung their heads low. The "Nightgripper" had struck once again.

"Mom this is a problem, if I'm going to be king and sis is going to be queen. This is a TERRIBLE problem!" said Eclipse. Luna walked over to him and she licked the blood off of his wings. She smiled at him and she flew off to the hunt. Eclipse, who's wings had healed after his mother licked them, flew after Toothless.

Eclipse flew doing loopty-loops and other tricks in the air. He did a roll and gracefully landed at Toothless's feet. "Hey dad, can we talk?" Eclipse asked "About?" "Well, Mom wouldn't let me talk to her about it. It's the Nightgripper." Toothless's eyes widened with fear and you could see the memory in them. He twitched a couple times and he regained focus. He looked around and then he whispered in Eclipse's ear.

Dusk woke up with a shake when Dawn and Eclipse jumped on him. He jumped like a terrified cat when he woke up. "What the heck! Why did you do that?" Dusk yelled. Then Dawn and Eclipse gave him puppy-eyes. Then Fearless walked up "But wittle Dusky was so scared," he said, their cousin. He was the biggest hatchling and definitely the strongest. But not the smartest."Hey step off our little brother!" demanded Dawn. Then Fearless looked at them and fire raged in his eyes then he flew away.

Dawn ran away as the terrifying NightGripper chased her. It was fast, but she was faster and smarter than him. She did a sharp turn and he bumped into a rock. Dusk and Eclipse were ahead and the two followed her. The Nightgripper sped up and and Dawn sprinted up to reality. But Eclipse was in the Nightgripper's mouth! Dusk tried to pry him out but he couldn't come out!

Eclipse slowly closed his eyes and he started to pass out from being shaken. "C'mon Dusk, we can try to wake him up in reality." Dawn and Dusk ran out and jumped on Eclipse. "Wha? Dusky? Dawny? Is that you?" Eclipse murmured he woke up and he had goopy eyes and his tooth came out. He layed back down and he passed out.

Dawn paced and paced and paced. She had been waiting forever to see Toothless. What is taking so LONG. I JUST NEED TO TALK OH MY GOSH. she then closed her eyes and she created a plasma blast. Okay now that i'm safe i can go in. she slipped through the opening. Dawn then walked shakily over to Toothless and she tapped his shoulder.

Dusk ran around frantically inside of the dream. Poor Eclipse had passed out in the Nightgripper's mouth after being shaken for an hour. He paced and ran and paced and ran. Over and over and over again. "C'mon Dawn hurry up! Eclipse might not make it much longer!!" suddenly a bright light and darkness appeared and so did Toothless,Luna, and Dawn! The three Furies raced over to the Nightgripper and saw a portal behind him. Then Dawn starts to pull her tail forward and her shadow jumps up. It looks around and it sees the Nightgripper, suddenly it runs around in circles and it signals the others to go on through the portal to the Hidden Kingdom. What is happening to us?

Eclipse just saw dark,how could I pass out while I'M ASLEEP. I MEAN HAVE YOU EVER EVEN HEARD OF IT, *Breathes* I guess I should calm down. I mean if the Nightgripper has been affecting us in reality through our dreams, wouldn't that mean. We can affect him through his dream too! So we can damage him like he did to us. Oh I need to wake up soon so I can help them.

Dawn looked at her shadow and he nodded. "Alright on the count of 3, 1, 2, 3!" all the 5 dragons leaped and flew into the warp. They landed into Queen Pearl's Palace. A crystal wonderland of shimmering and shining along with faint coloring. Pearl was in a deep sleep in a crystal throne in front of them. Dawn,Eclipse, and Dusk danced around happily. Dawn did a twirl, Dusk did a flip, and Eclipse woke up and started to ask questions.

Dusk yawned and he laid down after the Super Duper Fun Time Dance Palooza that the dragons had. Toothless shook his head and he went on. "Cmon Dusk!" Dawn said to him. Why can't I take a nap!! Dusk thought angrily he stamped over to his siblings and he gave Toothless the stink eye. Suddenly Luna said "Everyone beside me or if you can cloak then cloak!" then all the furies except Toothless, who gets behind Luna cloak.

Suddenly Pearl and Rose the light furies walk down the crystal hallway. "Rose where is my other servant, Quartz?" Pearl asks in her commanding voice. "Uh she is in the hatchery waiting for her egg to be born" Then Rose covers her mouth and Pearl turns around furious. "WHAT DID YOU SAY" "Nothing madam?" Rose replies. Suddenly Toothless walks out and growls.
