Meeting the Queen/ Bad Dreams

I don’t know how I can get out of this sticky situation. Maybe it’s useless, but what happened if he bites me? The thought scares me because only Gray has bitten me. I am doomed!

          “Eric leave Eve alone!” Angel took hold of my arm and pulled me out of Eric’s grasp, with her strength she almost pulled my arm apart. Then Rile came between me, Angel and Eric, I think to protect us. A noise was herd from behind Eric; like a scream of a woman. Eric looked really scared like something was hunting him down. When out of the blue came an amazingly beautiful lady dressed in a tan gown, with white laces from her waist down. And her hair was settled in a side braid down, and doesn’t seem like she has no make-up at all. “Eric… what is the meaning of you harming Eve? I told you specifically not to harm any human under any circumstances” she says furiously.  She is scary.

           “But mother…” he says but was cut off by his… mother? Wow! She looks way too young to be his mom; even though I have never seen my own mother…*sigh*. She told him to return to his room, he he that’ll teach him…. Before he went he stared at me and I heard his voice in my head saying “this isn’t over yet Eve”. He used my name! I think he’s talking serious.

          I’m shaking from head to toe. Eric is pissed. And what he said in my mind (which is kind of strange how they do that) is really threatening me. “Lady Eve are you alright? Do you need to lie down?” Angel offers but I decline, all I need is to talk to Gray. I think he might be still in the kitchen, probably still lowering his anger. I thank Angel and Rile for their help and head to the kitchen. Wait… why was over here in the first place? Oh well. Just as I was making my way to the kitchen I hear Gray and I think his mother talking. I position my left ear on the door.

“Gray you need to do it” says the mother

“I know mother, but I think she doesn’t love me back…” says Gray. What does he mean as ‘she doesn’t love me back’?

“Try, but you must hurry.” She says

“Yes, I’ll try. But when do I have to marry her” he stumbles on the word marry. Marry? Marry who?

“By the third full moon*. So you better start now” I hear footsteps moving closer to the door, I move away. The door open and there was blond woman. “Hello Eve!” she squealed in joy, “h-hi” I stumbled. Smooth move Eve. She stretched her hand out; I grabbed her hand swiftly and pulled me with no effort. “I’m sorry about leaving without introducing myself; I am Caroline Uroe. Queen of this kingdom in the vampire world.” She said as if it’s nothing happened, and I’ve never seen the human world before. So I can’t tell the difference. “Pleasure to meet the acquaintance my queen” I say then out of control I bow, how strange. “You have such nice manners Eve. Say, let’s meet in the garden tomorrow for some lemonade and cookies; will you join me?” she asked me and I agreed. She left with joy, I look at a clock that was nearby; already 4 in the afternoon! Wow time goes fast. I look inside the kitchen and there is Gray sitting down drinking some kind of red liquid. I yawned really loud and he heard me, I felt kind of embarrassed. “You tired Eve?” he asked nicely. I nod while rubbing my eye. “Come I’ll take you to bed” he finishes whatever he was drinking and comes over where I am and lifts me bridal style. I move my head on his shoulder, he feels so warm. I fall asleep quickly.

                                                *dream*

          I’m freezing cold. Bright lights of red, blue and yellow are coming right at me; I get off the blood glass floor and start to run. Every time I take a step I do not move. I look behind me and all I see is cracking glass everywhere, no bright lights. I stop running my heart isn’t beating, but I’m still breathing. Then I feel warmth around my arms. I look at my arms and find the 3 lights on my arms. I scream because they each have faces.

                                                *end of a stupidly short dream*

          I awake sweating and with Gray holding me close. “w-what happened? Why am I sweating so much?” I ask, Gray lightly smiles “I think you had a bad dream, but its ok I’m here” he said while brushing some strands of my hair back, was it really a dream? It seemed so real, like my body is actually feeling those temperatures. And those lights were so scary; I don’t think I have ever experienced a nightmare. Hoping I won’t have another I sigh in relief. Gray kissed my forehead and helps me up. “I think you should go and take a bath. I will tell Angel to help you ok?” he said, he left me alone. Where am I? My tummy rumbles for food, how long ago was it when I ate?

“Good morning Eve! How’d you sleep?” Angel asked cheerfully; today there’s something different about her. Not only is she wearing black jeans and a light blue t-shirt, which she usually wears a maid outfit, but she is awfully happy…

“Angel what is with your clothing? And why so happy? Did I miss something?” I asked curiously; she only smiled, grabbed my hand and we ran to the bathroom.

“What’s going on?” I yet again asked, she gave me clothes like hers; blue jeans, purple t-shirt. Oh and bra plus panties. She stayed with me while I took a bath; helping me wash my hair with some strawberry shampoo and I am pretty much learning how because last time with the mango and cream… didn’t end so well.

“So Angel what are we doing today?” she smiled even more, is that physically possible?

“You, I, Rile and Prince Gray are going to the vampire city
