It's been nearly 2 months since Chaeya started to work at kimcorp, as time passes by, she couldn't help but feel excited for her fast approaching graduation. She also could say she's getting the hang of working at kimcorp, although often times it could get ugly, like getting screamed by your CEO and trying not to take it by heart.

"For god's sake Miss Woo! You just embarrassed me infront of our investors!" Mr. Kim frustratedly exclaimed while harshly running a hand through his hair, sending piercing glares towards Chaeya.

"I-I'm-"

"Sorry?! Of course you are!" Mr. Kim exclaimed with thick venom laced in his tone. He never felt this much frustration before, the last time he remembers his tantrums was when he was 9 years old.

"I'll do better next time sir." Chaeya firmly said, doing her best in believing in her own words.

Mr. Kim heaved a sigh towards Chaeya, now trying to collect himself. Even when he fired the Human Resource director, he was eerily calm, after he became CEO, no one has ever seen him blow off steam- if anyone has seen his behavior right now it would be a surprise to everybody and if Chaeya decides to run her mouth around, she would be deemed hoax.

"Miss Woo, you've graduated with a degree in Business Administration, and you don't know what stock means?!" Mr. Kim furiously said in disbelief.

"Mr. Kim, of course I do! I couldn't hear her-"

"And to think you've graduated with latin honors? You're even close to graduating to your Master's degree! That university of yours is starting to be a joke right now, I should probably pull Nari out!" He exclaimed still oozing in frustration.

"No sir-"

"Then what is it? You cheated your way up?" Mr. Kim huffed which made Chaeya gasped taking offense, to say that she feels offended is an understatement, she's heartbroken, her heart shattered because she couldn't speak out to her defense and how her boss decided on degrading her, discrediting her hardwork.

She wants to scream at his face, how petty of you, but she couldn't do it, she thinks that he might be right, that she might mess up with the investors, screwing their chances to hit jackpot with the elites, and she thought, the investors can't be that petty, but to how Mr. Kim reacted, they might be.

She didn't realized a tear escaped her eye until her boss points it out.

"Why are you crying? Can't take a lecture?" Mr. Kim huffs out while raising an eyebrow, now leaning forward at his desk with both of his hands propped upon it. If Chaeya is watching a movie right now, she would probably thought of him as hot.

"Mr. Kim, hear me out." Chaeya said as she breathed in and out, trying to muster calmness and courage. Mr. Kim didn't respond but instead he remained in his position with his eyebrows meeting in a scowl.

"Okay." She whispered to herself as she released a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"I know what stock means. I graduated with integrity instilled in me. I worked so hard in school." She paused as she takes a breath, trying to breath in calmness.

"I sincerely apologize for messing that up, and probably no apologies could fathom the fact that I screwed that up,"

"A-and," she stammers.

"I tried to understand what she said b-but I couldn't-"

"Are you trying to mock our investors?" Mr. Kim asked, on the brink of losing his patience again.

"No sir!" She immediately replied in panic.

"Of course I wouldn't! How could I mock our investor a-and investor or not I wouldn't do that to anyone!" Chaeya defended almost in hysterics, once again about to tear up because her boss is accusing her for bullying.

"You laughed at her." Mr. Kim stated calmly.

"I did not! I laughed because I was nervous! Not because of her! I laugh when I am nervous and I did not mock her when I was answering her, I only nodded my head just so she could know that I am all ears listening to her!" Chaeya defended, now with tears streaming down her face.

"I'll do better next time Mr. Kim! I-I actually understood her, I just had a hard time grasping when she said something about stocks." Chaeya said while holding back a sob.

"I am so sorry." She said in full guilt while bowing towards Mr. Kim, with tears flowing down her face.

"You're dismissed, you may go home." Mr. Kim softly said as he proceeded to sit in his rotating chair.
