Eight in the morning and Chaeya found herself sitting on a couch in Mr. Kim's suite, she contemplated to whether make breakfast or not? Since he'll be waking up late and just in time for the meeting anyway. . . Or should I wake him up? She thought.

She waited until nine a.m rolls and decided to wake him up after she's arranged the mini breakfast.

"Mr. Kim?" She slowly spoke while she places an advil and water on the bedside table.q

"Mr. Kim, wake up." She said, now lightly nudging his body. A groan can be heard from under the duvet.

"What time is it?" Mr. Kim asked in his deeper and raspy morning voice.

"9:19." Chaeya replied.

"Here's an advil, take this before you leave bed. Breakfast is ready Mr. Kim." Chaeya added.

While sitting at the dining table, Chaeya remained still. . . Waiting for her boss to bring that up and hoping that he does not remember. She contemplated once more if she could finally tell him about quiting her role as secretary but is it really a good time?

"How are you feeling Mr. Kim?" She asks while spreading strawberry jam on her buttered bread, she internally thanks room service for their convenience.

"Great, just a little bit hazy but I am fine." He said while playing with his eggs.

"Can I talk to you about something?" Chaeya carefully asks.

"Is it important? Does it have to be now?" He asked, not leaving an eye on his food.

"It is important but it doesn't have to be now though." She meekly said.

"What is it?" He said, this time looking at her with his perfectly messed curls distracting her.

"Well. . . Um."

"I want to quit as your secretary." She said, a weight lifted of her chest as she finally said it.

"Am I too burdensome?" He asks with a scowl wanting to escape his face.

"No of course not!" She defended.

"It's just that- this is not for me. . . I wanna do something that I am actually specialized at." She explains.

"I wanna do Operations Management. . . I graduated in that course."

"So you're leaving the company?" He added with a passive look on his face.

"No! I actually plan on re-applying. . ." She said, now holding her mug tightly to contain her hands from shaking.

"Do you think you are qualified?" Mr. Kim asked straightforwardly.

"Yes." She said with every confidence that she could muster. She knew she is qualified but his question pushed her confidence off the drain, it's her boss for Christ's sake, it's up to him if she'll get accepted or not.

"Okay then. . . Do you even have a trustworthy secretary to take your place then? You do know you have to train her right?" He asks with an evident scowl on his face.

"I'll make sure you'll get the best secretary." She assures.

"I'll be honest, I don't think there's a slot in the O.M department." He said then sipped his brewed coffee.

"It's not in the top floor too. . . Can I trust you leaving the top floor? You have learned alot of things that are personal to me, I don't wanna risk you opening your mouth." He added.

"I am not like that. I won't use what I know about you against you. Trust me." She assures.

"I hate-"
