Back at the treehouse...

"Okay, maybe they had other plans," George said. "I-I get it."

Harold, while fidgeting with his legs, thought of something. "George, I really wish we could make Melvin be friends with Erica," he said. "It would be so cool to see them compete in science competitions or something."

"Yeah..." George said with a slightly muffled voice, because his hands were covering his face. "If only there was someone extroverted enough to teach Melvin the ways of conversation, and then Melvin can have a decent conversation to Erica, then all our problems can be solved!" George then sighed. "But who's more extroverted than US?!"

"I don't even consider myself an extrovert, more of an ambivert," Harold said.

The boys heard their hero's voice. He was talking a cup filled with two-day-old soda.

"Yes, I HAVE gained a bit of weight lately," Captain Underpants said to the cup. "But I don't care, 'cause I'm body positive!"

"CAPTAIN!" George and Harold yelled excitedly. They ran to the Captain, who was busy kissing the soda cup. Captain Underpants saw them and dropped the cup.

"Sorry, Sodey, but my sidekicks need me," Captain Underpants said. He turned to the boys. "Yes?"

"Go find Melvin and teach 'im the ways of being a conversationalist, would ya?" George requested to the Captain.

"Yeah, so he can be friends with Erica and we'll have no conflict ever for the rest of the series!" Harold said.

"No more conflict ever? Yeah, I doubt that," George said. "So, Cap, you got it, right?"

"Yes, sir, Bingo!" Captain Underpants said. "I'll even put on-"

He began to stress his face for a moment.

"-my SERIOUS face. Let's do this!"

He flew out of the treehouse and began to search the entire town to find Melvin. A few moments later, Bo arrived.

"Are...we still doing-" Bo asked in a very confused tone.

"No, it's cancelled," George said. "But Cap's got it under control, and we're pretty sure Melvin will be all better by tomorrow."

"Are we pretty sure, though?" Harold asked.

"No, we're NOT!" George screamed. "Yeah, Bo, me and Harold are gonna spy and intervene in case this conversation doesn't go well. See you tomorrow!" The two boys dashed out, leaving Bo (along with Gooch and Dressy) alone.

"Well, what do we do now?" Gooch asked.

"Umm, I think Jessica is still watching Screaming Things at her house," Bo said.

"Oh yeah!" Dressy cheered. "SCREAMING THINGS!"

"That show makes me pee my pants every time I see it, but I'll watch it with you guys!" Gooch said. He hopped onto Bo's shoulder, and the three walked to Jessica's house.
