A new life //The new maknae//

chapter 3

Me and Jungkook shared a room, like Hoseok and Jimin did.
The room seemed to be very comfortable.
There was much space for two beds, two desks and also two wardrobes.
My room at home was much smaller as the room I got now.
Fascinated I looked up to the huge bed until my view went to the noble desk.
Everything inside this room seemed pretty expensive.
Even the curtain infront of my window, which hung over my bed, looked pricey.
"And? Do you like it?"
I had turned my back to Jungkook bacause he stopped at the door, while I stepped closer to the bed to check it up.
For sure I never had such a noble bed before.
"It is absolutely crazy!", I answered and slowly turned to him.
Jungkook grinned that much that I was sure that my eyes sparkled.
"I'm glad you like it."
I noticed that he wanted to add something but in the last second he decided against it.
"Thank you!"
He looked at me with a surprised face.
"Thank you for what?"
"That I can sleep in such a great room and ... that you guys are so kind to me. That isn't  natural, you are not required to do all that", I mumbled with a slight smile, while I looked down to the ground.
Suddenly I felt pretty strong hands on my shoulder.
"For sure. We're like to do that!"
I was able to hear the smile in his voice.
"Come on. Lay your stuff on the bed and then we can join the others!"
He took his hands off of my shoulders and slowly marched to the door.
I put my bag, that I still carried, off and layed it on the bed, before I followed Jungkook then.
"You aren't from Seoul, are you?"
I looked up to him with surprise written on my face.
"No. How do you know that?"
"You don't seem to be the city-guy", he explained and looked at me for a second.
"Hwasun",I said when we walked down the hall.
"From Hwasun to Seoul. That has to be a big change."
Slowly I nodded while I nervously put my hands inside my pockets and looked at him.
Even if Jungkook seemed to be pretty friendly to me, he made me feel shy.
It was the same with the other guys.
I didn't know if the reason was that they were older than me or that I was a shy person in general.
The older one seemed to notice how nervous I was.
But to my relief he didn't say anything.
With a smile on his face he pulled me to the kitchen, past by the others, to the big dining table.
Then he let himself fall on one of the chairs and motioned me to take a seat, as well.
It looked like he gave himself the task to make the maknae feel comfortable in the new group.
Now I sat down, too.
Dimmed voices of the other guys reached my ear, followed by the rattling of cooking pots and the sound of cooking water.
"How did BigHit notice you? I mean, I didn't hear of any audition."
"Oh, there wasn't an audition. I... just played on my guitar on the street and sang a bit, when the manager walked up to me. He asked me if I was already in a band. Then he offered me to sign the contract to join BigHit."
If this hadn't happen to me, I would believe it was just be a made up story.
Jungkook raised a brow.
"Wait a second. You said you are from Hwasun. Why did you make music here, then?"
Oh right, I haven't told him the whole  story yet.
"I just moved to my uncle, who lives in Seoul. There... ", I stopped for a second," ...were some problems at home. In any case I was in Seoul for just a week when the manager talked to me."
He watched me for a second with a expression I couldn't pinpoint.
Then he placed a hand on my shoulder.
Obviously Jungkook had notice that I wasn't ready to tell him my whole story yet.
"I am happy that you are here now!"
I felt how I blushed and with a embarrassing look on my face I looked down on the table plate. Quietly I replied:" I am also pretty happy to be here!"
The dark- haired boy just wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Namjoon.
He placed a big cooking pot in the middle of the dining table and with with a bright smile on his face, Namjoon said:" Food is ready! Time to eat our first dinner with our new little Maknae."
