Today they had to go look at the construction site of the hotel. There was no need of suits since there would be alot of walking and the scorching sun would make them sweat like goats.

The cars were lined up as all 27 of them went into the cars. Sophia and Rachel were chatting animatedly and laughing when Rachel suddenly rose up and hugged Rowan.

Ryan's mouth was agape as he nearly punched Sophia's head and Sophia was appalled. Rowan hugged her back as Ryan and Sophia exchanged looks. "Sophia, Ryan. Meet my brother. Rowan."

Sophia spat out the juice she was drinking onto Rowan's shoe. "This thi... is your brother?" She asked and Rowan scowled when he realised he was about to be called a thing.

"You ruined my shoe." He shouted and Sophia ignored him. "You're called Rachel Maria. Even though I find that name still odd."

"Rachel Maria Mendoza and this is the amazing brother I always tell you about." And Sophia snorted. "Amazing my ass." She muttered under her breath.

"Why are you here?" Rachel asked her brother. "What kind of a tepid question is that." Rachel sat in the middle with Ryan, Damian and Anne at the front and Sophia and Rowan at the far back.

Sophia leaned her head on the window and started to doze off when Rowan interrupted her. "I can see why you did not sleep. You were awake fucking the living daylights out of that boy." He sneered.

She hadn't had a decent sleep trying to come up with ways to put Daniel behind bars and this shitty man was disturbing her. She ignored him and dozed off.

They still had 30 min to arrive to the site and Rowan found himself looking and tracing Sophia's features.
Ryan nudged Rachel when he saw how he was looking at Sophia. "He's whipped." He whispered.

"Would you go on a date with me tonight?" Damian asked Anna. He wouldn't deny but there was a part of him that liked Anna but he wouldn't admit that yet. Trying to get Sophia was like trying to pass through the eye of a needle.

Rachel splashed water onto Sophia's face and she woke up and gave a fierce blow onto Rowan's face. "Why the fuck would you do that?" She shouted and they turned their heads to him.

"Actually, it was me." Rachel sheepishly said and Sophia's eyes narrowed into slits. She turned to Rowan and saw his nose bleeding. "I apologize. It wasn't my intention."

He ignored her and came down from the car as Cindy screeched. "What happened handsome?" He pushed her away and went to one of the toilets to clean up. She had one hell of a fist.

Sophia wore her hat as they toured the place commenting from time to time. The land was really huge and the hotel was expected to be fully done the following month.

When they returned to the villa it was as if everyone's joints ached. After 5 excruciating hours of walking up and down in the unforgiving sun they had had lunch at a nearby restaurant and proceeded to the warehouse.

It was seven o'clock and the guys had decided to hit the club. Sophia went into the kitchen and it looked as if she was the only one left. Humming a tune she nearly had a stroke when she saw Rowan standing by the counter eating a cake.

She opened the freezer and took out an ice cream. "How's your nose?" "If you're trying to seduce me turn around and go back to where you came from."

Sophia rolled her eyes, "You're really a piece of work you know. Even if my eyes were gouged out I wouldn't go for you."

"Oh sorry, I forgot you only go for the likes of Damian. Psst! What was I thinking my bad." She took her ice cream and left the kitchen.

She sat in the living room and put on a horror movie as Rowan sat down. "You women have a habit of putting on shows like this so that you can touch men and snuggle into them."

Rowan watched Sophia. She was sitting on the edge of her seat and her eyes glued to the television as she ate the ice cream. Even when the part where the head was cut off or the intestines blown out she would not even blink an eye whereas he was sometimes shaken by the too much blood. Like when the guy fell into a hole and the was drilled into it.

It was some hours later when the movie was finished and he realised he had moved to Sophia's seat. "Psst! Men. Always gloating and acting like knight in shining armors. Whose the hypocrite now." She poked fun and laughed. His heart swelled when he heard her laugh. What was wrong with him. He scolded himself.
