Rowan wasn't fazed even though she was harshly glaring at him. He took some wipes and a bandage, cleaned her wound and bandaged it.

Sophia was exhausted so she chased Rowan out and took a shower. She wore a short and sweatshirt and groaned when she found Rowan lounging on her bed.

"Why don't you just leave. Look, stay away from my problems. Pretend this never happened and go on with your life."

Rowan had not yet registered her words since he was in a trance the moment he saw her smooth caramel legs and the huge sweatshirt was doing nothing to hide her figure.

He did not make a move to leave. She felt dizzy and light headed before everything went black and she collapsed.

Rowan caught her halfway before she could kiss the floor. He carried her to the bed as he nursed her. He would check the wound from time to time and in the end he had fallen asleep looking after her.

The night had been splendid for Damian. He had managed to get sweet Anna in his bed. He didn't know she was a virgin but the sex was mind blowing. "Morning," Anna blushed.

"Well, cut the pretense. We already fucked. Get your clothes and leave. I'm sure you know where you came from." Damian spat.

Anna cried her eyes out and she met halfway with Sophia in the elevator.

Sophia knew how to coax people and within no time Anna had told her the problem. "Come here." She gave her a warm hug and offered to take her to her place. She would have to teach that bastard a lesson by all means.

She had woken up and found Rowan dead asleep on the couch so she had covered him and left. She had matters to take care of. She had the evidence to put Daniel behind bars but first she had to visit her sister.

"Here's my number. You can call me anytime you want." Sophia had dropped off Anna when she saw her car being tailed. Someone was following her and she had to act fast.

She stopped near a clothing store and got out. The car that was tailing her also stopped. She entered the store and dialled Harold her right hand man.

She hurriedly explained the situation and bought a black hijab and a buibui. (the Somali dress that covers them up)

She was happy when she saw Harold. She jumped into the old car without creating suspicion and drove out of there. Glancing at the side mirror she saw the car was still parked.

Harold was a smart man and he knew what he should do. She was a hundred percent sure those were Daniel's men or Daniel himself. She had to make sure the tables were not turned on her.

She parked her car and went to her sister's room. It had been more that 3 weeks since she was in a coma and it saddened her. She would do everything in her power to make Daniel regret ever meeting her.

Rowan was awake when she went back to the penthouse. "Where were you?" "That's none of your business." She replied. "Indeed. Take a look at this." He threw his tablet at her.

"Henrietta Brown the girl who was kidnapped mysteriously reappeared last night at the police station. She was interviewed and she explained bits of the ordeal of what she went through when she taken. She said she was saved by a woman and even though she didn't look at her features carefully she said she was very beautiful. Her captor with the description she had given had grey hair and blue eyes. Henrietta added that her saviour had been shot when they were on the run from the henchmen of her captor. Stay tuned for updates on this case."

Rowan turned to Sophia. "Well?" "Look, it's a long story and it really does not concern you. Please leave." He grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. "Doesn't concern me huh? I was awake last night taking care of you knowing you were shot and even though you treat people like shit I still looked beyond that."

"Well, it is indeed none of my business. Have a great day Parker." He spat. Sophia refused to acknowledge any feelings from within. She shut them down immediately. Her only focus was making Daniel pay and she would do just that. She knew one person who could help her.
